Originally built as a home office on their property, it's been converted into a well-appointed one-bedroom holiday home with its own off-street parking. It's on a quiet, residential road with no through traffic, handy for the village and a short path to the shingle beach. A lovely selection of tea, coffee, biscuits, fruit and soft drinks awaited us in the kitchen, and this is the first holiday rental I've used that provided bath robes! No need for the car to go to the village or even into Deal to go to the shops - it's about 3 miles very pleasant walk on a metalled coast path. Good food in the Rising Sun and restaurant-quality food in the Zetland Arms. Jill and her husband were very friendly and welcoming, full of good advice and they couldn't do enough for us or our small dog. When a neighbour was having some work done with power tools they even offered the use of their private terrace where it was quieter. Felt very much as though we were were being treated as visiting friends.

We had a wonderful Christmas in this beautiful seaside cottage! A big thank you to Spencer for allowing us to stay with our 3 cheeky dachshunds. The house was decorated beautifully, was immaculate and very cosy. The fridge was empty for our use and we had some tea/coffee/dishwasher tablets along with other useful items for our stay. The linen and towels were provided and there were plenty of dog beds too. It is round the corner from 3 great pubs and we did a daily walk into Walmer along the front (which took just over an hour) and it was very serene. Overall a perfect stay, very reasonably priced and dog friendly so we couldn’t ask for any more! We would definitely consider staying again next time we are in Kingsdown. Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay at Aisling’s place in May. The accommodation was just as described and had absolutely everything needed. Her place is in the most spectacular section of the park - with back decking views straight onto the sea and sunrise. Front decking gets the setting sun. My children had a fantastic time running around and using the playground - there are no cars on site. Aisling was a pleasure to communicate with and was responsive, friendly and really helpful. A fantastic host.
