It's also a great base for exploring the isle of Bute, the "secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Shepherds Cottage - The Plan Farm close to coast

The Shepherds Cottage is situated on the south end of the Isle of Bute. Can sleep 4 adults, and one infant, or 2 adults and 2 children. We accept a max of 2 well behaved dogs. 5 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to the West Island Way and St. Blains Chapel. A 15-20 minute drive gets you to Rothesay. An ideal place for walkers, or families for adventurous holidays. On a working farm with sheep and cattle, so expect some sounds and noises at times.

Our Wee Getaway

2nd Floor flat is located a few hundred yards from the ferry port and you can see when the boat has arrived from the living room window. Space consists of two bedrooms - one double and one twin, entrance hall, two large cupboards - one which has an TV and Xbox, and a living area which also has the kitchen at one end of the room. There is a washing machine, Xbox one, Wii U, Netflix, Amazon Prime and Sky Glass TV and Sky hub in one bedroom.
