Monthly Rentals in King George County

Loved this quaint tiny house. It was quiet and scenic and a 15 minute drive to Colonial Beach waterfront and restaurants. Lorie is fabulous host, communicative and friendly. We had a great time!

We stayed at Laura's home in King George for about 5 months, and it was an amazing stay overall. The house looks exactly like it does in the photos, is well kept, has extra linens available, and is very cozy. The sunroom was great to sit out in, and it has all the amenities listed. Everything was functioning great, and the grill out back was a fantastic addition as well. The area is very peaceful and walkable. We had our dog with us, and we walked him every day around the cottage, where we would be greeted by the neighbors, or Laura herself. It was very convenient having a beach that we could walk to, and a restaurant right down the road as well. Laura was a great host from check in to check out. She was very attentive to our needs and assisted us whenever we were having any issues. It was very convenient for her to be right down the road, as she could physically come and see us if necessary. I will definitely be staying here again if I am ever in the area.

From the beginning, my 87 year old mother in law got in a little early at the airport and we arrived at the place about an hour early; as soon as I found out, I asked the renters and they said it was fine. The first floor bedroom with a separate bath was great for her (this was NOT the master bedroom). The house is off of a pond with very few people around (you can't even see other houses). The first afternoon, the electricity went out (an outage, not from the house) and the renters were incredibly helpful. They called the power company several times and kept us constantly informed. The power came back on soon during the afternoon so it didn't affect us at all, but the attention from the renters was great. The layout of the house is a little odd, with the master bedroom being a separate suite on the first floor. It has a jacuzzi bath tub, which was very nice. I could write more but I am out of space. Bottom line: if you want a nice quiet clean place, rent this one. It was great.

A wonderful spot for a weekend getaway! Super clean, charming, and cozy. Peaceful nature and views yet not too far from town. As so many guests have mentioned, the winery next door is lovely and makes for a fun outing. The cabin has everything you need and more! Highly recommend!
