Booked fairly late but were so pleased we did. Perfect location for what we were doing and so close to lovely beaches in the area. Property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.

Loved the shepherds hut - great location very tranquil, we enjoyed our Sunday breakfast in the sunshine with just the noise of sheep and church bells in the distance. Every small detail had been thought of - tea, coffee (real!) and milk and wood , firelighters and matches all provided. We arrived to some delicious chocolate brownies, dog treats and chilled cans in the fridge. Hot tub was perfect too. Nicola recommended a lovely local pub which was in walking distance. Leaflet provided with local walks from the village taking in the local area (saved us having to plan our own!). Nicola and her mum were perfect hosts. Highly recommended whether you are looking for a couple of nights away or wanting to spend longer in the area to explore the Jurassic Coast.

As a base to explore the Jurassic coast it’s a superb location, allowing for peaceful evenings after a tiring day out. Enjoy a drink by a scenic pond in a very well managed garden as the sun sets was right up our street. The kitchen is fully equipped for 2 guests and the twin beds combined into one large bed allows for a perfect nights sleep. The bathroom is compact but fully functional with a decent sized shower. Ample parking outside the property. The village pub is an historic building with some of it dating back to the 12th century and the food is excellent. There are plenty of restaurants / pubs in the area as well as nature reserves, woodland walks and coastal treats, the water is blue and the beaches vary between stoney to Sandy. Be prepared to pay for parking everywhere with the price increased between April and September. The Seaton Tramway was fun and a drive down to Labrador Bay allowed us to watch Dolphins and the rare Cirl Bunting. The is too much to do.
