Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kill Devil Hills

The house is very nicely decorated and has a well equipped kitchen. The master bedroom is roomy with a lovely walk in shower. We had a bit of rainy weather and it was nice for my family to be able to hang out in the living room together. The house was very clean. I appreciated having off street parking and being in a quiet neighborhood. If we would have had more time, it would have been very fun to use the bikes to ride the nearby trail along the sound. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

We had the best weekend at this property! It was so clean, excellent location/ quick walk to the beach, and the host included so many thoughtful details to the space and our stay that made our trip wonderful. We will book again the next time we are in the OBX!

Lots of space, clean, and beautiful. There were discounts for a number of local businesses, and the location was perfect for beach access. Neighborhood was quiet and safe.

Home matched the description and photos. Just a brief walk to the beach. Nice around to walk our dog around as well. Coffee shop close by. The hot tub was a nice plus for our stay. Host provided clear/helpful directions.

Katie’s place is the perfect little beach house for a relaxing vacation! You are steps from the beach and in a quiet area. The house was spotless and one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve stayed in. The host quickly responds to any questions. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely stay again!

Carrie's place was among one of the best AirBnb's our family has stayed at in the OBX to date. The location is great, the neighborhood is very safe, and restaurants and beach access are just a few blocks away! We cannot say enough great things about our stay! Believe all of the amazing reviews— there is definitely a reason Pat and Chuck have so many! Pat was extremely welcoming and began communicating prior to our stay. She was prompt and was waiting for us when we pulled in. Chuck was just as friendly and so easy to sit and have conversations with. They welcomed you in with open arms. The place was so clean and smelled wonderful! It may not be the biggest of spaces, but it was perfect for two and Pat literally thought of EVERYTHING you could need during your stay. Forgot your toothpaste? She’s got it. Forgot your sunscreen? She’s got it. Need a beach chair or extra towel? She’s got those too! Need a snack? There’s plenty and a couple drinks also! Looking for recommendations of things to do, places to eat, etc? She’s got folders with everything for you to look through. We cannot wait to visit again! Hands down the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. Thanks again Pat & Chuck!!

We had a great stay at Casa de Luz! It was a terrific home-base for our first OBX visit. We loved all of the thoughtful touches throughout the apartment. Lots of beach gear was provided, so we didn't have to buy our rent anything. Our kids loved the toys and games that Heather provided as well as the lovely park & playground across the street.

We enjoyed the location. Close to all attractions and beaches but off the busy area. Quiet location.

Travis’s place was perfect for our anniversary weekend getaway! It was perfectly located (2 minute walk to the beach, quick drive to many great restaurants), and very clean. We would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our peaceful getaway at Gypsea’s! Wonderful location offering privacy in the home. The water quality was fantastic which is a nice surprise to find when traveling! The place was extremely clean, & the use of safe cleaning products sets it aside from the rest. The bathroom & bedroom were nicely cleaned. The location is phenomenal! Right in the hub of OBX. Great distance from the beach- walking or driving. Surrounded by great local restaurants which we thoroughly enjoyed exploring. The house has character & great vibes. Would recommend!

What a neat find! This place was super modern yet comfortable with access to so many things! Sasha was super responsive and provided helpful instructions from the beginning.

Whitney was a great host, very proactive, had clear instructions on checking in and responsive. This is a great location, the pool was perfect and had plenty of chairs. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for us. We enjoyed our stay!!

Dave's place is amazing! The listing is exactly as described, and was perfect for our family of 4. Communication with Dave was thorough and timely. The location is excellent, with a view of the ocean from the front porch. We loved the sliding door in the master bedroom that allowed us to walk right out onto the porch. It's so close to the beach! Less than a 1 min walk and you're on the sand! I've never stayed in a more well stocked Airbnb! Everything from extra linens to toiletries is provided! Beach supplies and all! We walked to dinner, or drove less than 10 mins to some great places. We already decided we want to book a longer trip next summer! It was fantastic!

Took a few days on my own to unwind and the condo fit the bill perfectly. Quiet and pretty surroundings just a short drive into town. It was nice coming back every afternoon after visiting the beaches and Manteo to this quiet spot.

Beautiful condo that is right on the water. The view from the balcony is worth staying at this condo. There is easy beach access and the condo is clean. It is the perfect size and location for a beach getaway. Gene is extremely friendly and responsive as well.

Absolutely wonderful condo in Manteo! The space was clean, super comfortable and the location was perfect. Looks exactly as the pictures show, but with an even better view of the water from the patio. The hosts are lovely and very responsive. We went to see The Lost Colony at Fort Raleigh and was able to walk via an easy walking path right outside of the condo. We will 100% stay again and recommend to anyone visiting the area.
