Christine is a fantastic host and was made to feel very welcome. Very good communications at all points. Room was as expected and private.

A fantastic place to stay in Kilkenny. Beautiful room overlooking the river. Spacious bedroom with large modern ensuite bathroom. Very generous breakfast options supplied every morning. Niamh and Joe are very friendly and helped with local recommendations and advice. Great location and is only 5 mins walk to the medieval mile. Very close to bars and restaurants. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to everyone. Best airbnb I’ve stayed at.

My wife, kids (2 and 3.5), and I had a wonderful stay. The walk from the parking lot took past an abbey established in 1225 and under some old medieval arches, making for an absolutely epic arrival. The loft itself was immaculate and fun, with tons of open space and an incredible covered patio we breakfasted on. To welcome us, the hosts left us fresh, delicious soda bread, scones, butter, grapes, and marshmallows. We had take-out around the large wood dining table and had no trouble making tea and coffee. There's one flight of stairs up to the loft from the alley (which was no trouble, even for us, who had a stroller and a-few-too-many bags). Kilkenny isn't huge, and if you're in town you're close to everything, but this location was under 10 minutes by foot from plenty of great shopping, eating, and drinking. We visited on Wednesday and Thursday nights, and were never bothered by noise. Ultimately this space was one of the highlights of our trip and we'd be eager to go back.
