Holiday rentals with lake access in Keswick

Had a great time staying here with some friends for a long weekend in the Lake District. Really unique house, and easy access to great hikes.

I can’t recommend Will and Giles’ place enough. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The information sent prior to arrival was brilliant, the cottage was much bigger than we expected and it’s in an amazing location right by Coniston. The place was spotless and had some lovely touches. We will be back!

Can’t say enough about the house and its host. Very clean, nice linens, comfy beds and perfect location to get to local shops, restaurants, pubs etc. We had a really lovely stay and Lizzie was super helpful and hospitable, ensuring our stay was perfect. Windermere (and Bowness on Windermere) are 10min walk from the house. It truly is a beautiful location to enjoy the Lake District. We will definitely be back!

parking for 2 cars was perfect. location was great and so quiet and yet in the centre of everything.

We stayed at Brad and Sue’s place in Coniston in June. Great location - lots of restaurants and cafes in walking distance and several small shops for essentials. We were 5 adults and a dog and found the accommodation really comfortable with everything we needed for our week. Helpful tips for local pubs, cafes and restaurants from Brad and Sue. Lots to do around Coniston.

A beautiful house in a lovely setting, great for family get togethers, location right on the lake was amazing, & easy access to lovely local town of Glenridding for essentials. Wide range of facilities at the cottage, we really enjoyed the private outdoor eating area next with the wood fired outdoor grill. Very nice well appointed kitchen with quality appliances, bathrooms clean and with quality fittings. Outside garden/woodland area was perfect for us and our dog, although the many steps and steep paths would not suit everyone, but this factor is clearly explained in the information host provides. We found some rooms a little dark, especially on a rainy day but there are some lovely lamps which can be moved around if required. Overall I would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay & enjoy the lake district and all it has to offer.

We’re just home after a very lovely stay in the most beautiful location. Louise communicated well and provided us with a pristine place to stay with everything we could wish for to make us feel at home. The apartment has the most amazing views from every room and is very comfortable and well equipped. There are so many lovely places to visit in the area, some walkable from the accommodation, that we definitely need to visit again. We would have no hesitation in recommending this air bnb - it’s one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you Louise and Mick 😊

Peter was very helpful, and the check-in process was easy. We arrived early, and when I mentioned this to Peter, he told me that I could check in right away if the cleaner had finished. Ray and Sue were extremely responsive throughout, they met us and showed us around the apartment. They were very friendly and advised if we needed anything else we could reach out to them. The apartment was exactly as described, clean, loads if room, and we had very comfy beds. We had every item required in the kitchen, plus juice, milk and chocolate biscuits in the fridge which was a lovely gesture, plus tea, coffee, and sugar. Everything was to hand. We had a great stay, I would definitely recommend this accommodation, and our hosts Ray and Sue were brilliant. Thank you so much. X

There were four of us old boys and Lorna's place was just the job. We each had a nice room and there were two bathrooms. The place was spotless. We had a question about the stove which Lorna's bloke answered easily; then we were away with the cooking. One small suggestion would be to have some ice in an eye tray. We had a lovely 3 nights at The Stable ,the accommodation was very clean and good value.Situated in lovely surroundings for walking and touring.The local pubs offer great food.Maria could not have been more helpful and freindly

Stunning place, inside was lovely and beautiful surroundings. We booked last minute and as 2 travelling with work so did not get to enjoy the place as much as I wish we could of!

Scafell View had everything we needed. There was onsite private parking so guaranteed an easy space opposite the property and the apartment is a good size with everything you need. There were 3 of us staying and it great base from which to explore the local area and the views are amazing, especially the night sky! Sharon provided clear instructions on how to find the property with some suggestions and helpful info in the apartment. The only thing I'd ask for would be a few more adult board games for the evenings.

I have now stayed several times in Sari’s lovely cottage. It is comfortable and has all the amenities I enjoy. I love the views, the walks and the peace. I definitely hope to book again Thankyou

Anya’s house was very comfortable and we felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The instructions provided were easy to follow. Each room had heating which was needed as one night was quite cold. It was great to have a washing machine. The location was within driving to restaurants and pubs and there was plenty of pamphlets of things to do and see in the area. The tiny snug was very cute and cosy. Highly recommended

Our second stay in Ridgeway Cottage; we love the stunning views from the huge picture windows and the convenient location for exploring the Lakes. We may be back again!

A beautiful cottage in the most stunning and well kept grounds. The chickens absolutely added value to the experience, especially the little brown one who we named Wilmer for our stay! She was the perfect little neighbour, cute, cheeky and friendly. The lake, boat and kayaks were gorgeous. Cottage stunning, found the smell of ‘dog’ noticeable when I went in which sparked some allergies but luckily, not upstairs so didn’t impact sleep. It clearly said dogs welcome downstairs so something I should have thought about in advance. The library and reading area overlooking gardens and lake was so peaceful and cottage really does optimise the space. Kitchen very well thought out with good facilities and loved the fresh eggs and white roses left, a really thoughtful and lovely gesture. Gorgeous place, privacy respected and clearly a much loved cottage. Thank you.

This is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Such a lovely cosy cottage and so comfortable. Russell is a great host and so welcoming. We will definitely book again for a longer stay.

Our 3rd stay at Olives Cottage that says it all 😁 Mountain View’s from every room , very comfortable beds lots of space for 6 people , great hot shower piles of fluffy white towels and lots of extras left by the host. After hiking so great to have a boot area and separate washing machine and tumble dryer is brill. The Barrow is a must walk from the cottage and the Tea room at the village shop worth a visit . We will be back
