The most beautiful property at the most beautiful location. The apartment is even better than what the pictures manage to capture, with the location to die for. You have incredible views from each one of the windows. They have provided with very well laid out and detailed information and instructions about everything in and around. Will definitely revisit.

Greta grove house was well situated, very clean with everything that was required for a relaxing stay, the views were spectacular and the area seemed very quiet and safe

The host gave very detailed instructions allowing for an easy check in. The flat was very clean and in an excellent location, close to restaurants and the lake. I would happily stay here again

This was our first visit to the Lake District and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The location was perfect for the walking and hiking we did. The deck was a great place to sit with our coffee and the view of Catbells was beautiful! If we come back, this is where I want to stay and I highly recommend it!

This place has beautiful views of Ullswater across the gardens day and night, a comfortable bed, suitably equipped kitchen area, and feels well located for exploring around the local area. We had a lovely few days here getting out in nature, and enjoyed a meal at the Inn on the lake in Glenrriding 15 mins away, and a Sunday dinner at the Brakenrigg pub at the bottom of the road. There’s waterfalls, walks and boat rides all within a short drive, and Matt got in touch via message and email prior to our stay, so we felt there would be communication if there was anything we needed.

What a fabulous few days me and my boys had ..I’ve never seen them so relaxed (ages 35 and 37 )x I think it was the lovely energy we felt in the beautiful Nest xx looking out over the river each morning set us up for the day. Would recommend 100% , we had everything we needed ..I couldn’t fault it ..the bedrooms immaculate and the beds /bedding were soft clean and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the gym and pool offer also x staff there were lovely at the Swan Hotel. Thank you xx

What a great place to stay! The apartment was immaculately clean, with great facilities and in a really good location for both the town and exploring the other areas in the Lake District. We spent most of our days out walking and it was the perfect place to come back to. If we return the Lakes in the future which we hope to we would definitely book again.

We stayed in the Ashbrook apartment for two nights, the location was beautiful, very tranquil setting with a lovely garden view. the apartment itself was absolutely spotless and tastefully decorated using fab colours. we also had a jug of milk, tea, coffee and a cheeky bottle of fizz left for us which was really thoughtful. The bedroom was also great, plenty of storage and a dressing table (always a bonus) the bed was really comfortable and extra large, which as two very tall people was much appreciated. The bathroom did not disappoint either, again spotlessly clean and loads of places for toiletries, brill power shower and good sized towels provided. We didn't really prepare any meals in the apartment apart from breakfast, but if we had the kitchen was large and well equipped for cooking. We loved our stay here, one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in Keswick and we have been a lot! Thank you Ashley and Steve.

There were four of us old boys and Lorna's place was just the job. We each had a nice room and there were two bathrooms. The place was spotless. We had a question about the stove which Lorna's bloke answered easily; then we were away with the cooking. One small suggestion would be to have some ice in an eye tray. This was our second stay at Parkergate. Ullock Pike is a lovely self catering appartment. Very well located, spatious, quiet, and clean. Looking forward to returning!

Fantastic stay, great location in the heart of Ambleside. The apartment was super clean and felt light and airy. Tv in the living room and bedroom was a great addition after a day of walking and wanting to chill in bed which was very comfy. The hosts gave lots of recommendations through their very useful guide book and were on top form with their communication.

Great spot, comfy sofa. Kitchen had everything we needed, powerful shower, park right outside the door. Very clean, thank you for a lovely stay.

Really comfortable and quiet apartment right in the centre of Windermere town. Very convenient for shops and restaurants. Very comfortable bed and lovely that it is dog friendly. It was the ideal spot for a weeks visit. Note that there is no parking space with this listing, however we never had any issues getting a parking spot across the street in the evenings, which suited us well as we were out hiking for most of the days anyway. Host was very helpful and responsive.

I had a lovely weekend in Catherine’s ideally positioned apartment. Very comfortably furnished and well equipped.

Such a steal last minute booking on a bank holiday, we were so surprised it hadn’t been booked being in such a central location and obviously the hot tub which is always a big swading point for us. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. So spacious for 2. The hot tub was a lovely temp with a little cover above us which helped with privacy from other houses and the rain. Though there was a little tear or two in it which meant rain seeped through but this didn’t bother us. We were a little taken back there wasn’t a microwave either but again this wasn’t an issue. Everything was spotless. Round the corner from one of our favourite pubs (the crafty baa) and plenty of food, drink and shops around. Thank you so much for having us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay xx

Just had an incredible weekend break at Jenny's gorgeous accommodation. I have seen other reviews saying that the photos and description doesn't do this place justice and I totally agree. The lodge had everything we needed, was perfectly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The views from the balcony are breathtaking!! The location is so picturesque, peaceful and clean and extremely close to Keswick. We took full advantage of the gym, swimming pool, sauna and hot tub, which was a brilliant way to start/finish the day. Also highly recommend the White Horse pub, where I have eaten the best chicken burger ever! Jenny, thank you for the kind and thoughtful treats. We highly recommend your place to anyone!! xxx

We booked this accom very last minute(3hrs before we checked in), and turned out to be a great choice. Having never heard of Whitbarrow Village we did not know what to expect and was very pleased to find this apartment was part of a larger holiday village complex. The apartment was very well kitted out and had all mod cons you would want, some cleaning products and tea/coffee bits,plus a nice outdoor seating area and close access to the pool and games areas. The main reception building was very clean and the pool facilities were fantastic as well as the kids games area & cinema room (9yr old with us). Only a 15 min drive to Keswick or Penrith made it a great location just off the A66 but so peaceful & quiet. Friendly on-site staff and well maintained garden areas. Overall a great little find and will definetly stay at Whitbarrow Village again.

A lovely loft - perfect and just what we needed for our 2 day mini-break. The loft was much bigger than we anticipated so that was a lovely surprise. The little touches were great too - fresh towels, milk, butter, instructions for the hot tub, even some jigsaws for the rainy afternoon. Everything we needed. The outdoor space was so peaceful. Even though we were on the farm’s property, we felt right at home, comfortable and had the privacy we wanted. The neighbours were adorable - cows and their calves! The outdoor space was secure for our two dogs. Plenty of room for them to stretch their legs and play on the grass. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed here for a week and had an amazing time. The location is perfect, within walking distance to Windermere town (about 10 mins) and also Bowness (about 20 mins). The accommodation was spacious and clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Gary and Ange were fantastic hosts, they made us feel very welcome whenever we bumped into them and went above and beyond to return a personal item we accidentally left behind. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time we visit the Lake District.

What a truly wonderful little place, there is so much to do for the kids and my two really did enjoy it! The apartment was absolutely stunning, spotless and also very spacious. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to book a trip away to the lakes be it with children or without. We will definitely be coming back!
