Great stay at Andrew’s place, comfy, and exactly as listed. Andrew was friendly and helpful, even told us about a local street festival (we couldn’t go, but appreciated the tip!). Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Lancaster.

A beautiful retreat in a beautiful part of the world. A great place for a meeting amongst friends. Plenty of space, extra blankets for cold nights and a fire to keep warm. An amazing authentic experiences which was loved by all of us. This was a place to remember. Thanks.

Lovely house in beautiful location by Coniston Water. Brenda was very helpful & friendly sharing tips on places to go & nearby walks & providing maps, leaflets & guides as well as personal recommendations. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome & at home. I would definitely recommend staying here!

What a memorable stay in the Lake District, in an absolute beautiful and remote place that has so much history! Kate was a fantastic host, we loved our conversations together and hanging out by the fire in the evening. The cats and the hens brought us so much joy! Kate went above and beyond to set up breakfast with many choices - even accommodating for gluten and dairy free. The road to get there is an adventure in itself, luckily there's not much traffic and it went really well for us. We would highly recommend staying there! Note that the ground in front of the house is uneven and there are a few steps to get into the house, which can be challenging for people who have difficulties going up stairs. You might be as lucky as us and have a cat waiting for you at the top though!

A wonderful home away from home. True to and more than what exactly mentioned in the booking page. Five star hotel like hospitality service provided. Tess was really helpful, kind, and informative. A must try staying option minutes away from famous destinations in the Lake District. Will definitely book again in our next visit. Overall rating 10/10.

I travelled to The Coach House for business. It is a 10 minute drive to Workington. Everything was to a good standard, aesthetically pleasing, and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the shower spacious. You will have neighbours - the sheep. The sheep made a sound, I thought it was a duck! Thanks Joanna. Pig loved it too. X

Exceptional! The accommodation was spacious, quirky in a good way, surprisingly well equipped, and no expense spared. Our host Ivan was extremely helpful and a pleasure to talk to. We plan to return!

we know the area fairly well, and our usual place wasn't available on the dates we needed. this was perfect for our stay. The fluffy towels and great shower were lovely. basic supplies provided, and a chocolate cake :-) Bed is very comfortable too, we slept extremely well The local pub was recommended, The Stag Inn, Dufton and we had already booked ahead, for our first meal. (sirloin steak and corned beef and onion pie) We had a roast in The Mason's Arms in Long Marton on Sunday evening with our friends and it was delicious. 2 years since our last meal in there and it lived up to our expectations. we would stay here again.

Beautiful cottage in great location in the centre of town and handy for the Lakes. Spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished with lots of lovely touches like a beautiful bunch of flowers and goodies on arrival. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay in the Buttermere Suite. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the location was perfect. Walking distance to the lake, shops and great restaurants. The fridge in the room was a great addition for storing snacks and drinks and was replenished daily with a fresh bottle of milk and orange juice. Check in and check out was easy and the parking permit was a definite bonus. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you for a great weekend.

Beautiful apartment Helen’s instructions were really clear & check in was seamless. Didn’t really get to appreciate the surrounding area except for the stunning views. This was a brief visit as our son was competing in the Lakes Ultramarathon. We were very grateful for the welcome hamper this allowed him to refuel post race. We will definitely be back ❤️

We had a fantastic stay at Jacquie and David’s AirBnB! Both were incredibly personable, friendly, and welcoming! It really felt like staying with old friends. The rooms were spotless, cosy, and full of charm, and the breakfast was absolutely spot on; a perfect way to start each day. The area is stunning too, peaceful and picturesque with lots to explore nearby. Their warmth and hospitality made our visit truly memorable. Would definitely stay again!

Brian made this weekend escape special. He was so communicative and helpful both ahead of our stay and during. The farmhouse is an authentic Westmorland 18th Century building with many original features. Our room and bathroom were private and cosy. Breakfasts were the perfect start to the day. Tea and coffee was also available in our room. Location was superb with a short walk to the local pub, The Punchbowl, a gastro pub with award winning fayre. Brian and I shared the same birthday (day and year), so we had lots in common. The cats were a great hit, with guaranteed cuddles and no claws. In summary, a great spot for a mini break in the Lake District!

We only stayed for a night passing through but I would definitely come back to use as a base for exploring Hadrians Wall and northern Cumbria. Tastefully decorated and characterful, very comfortable and Andrea was an amazing host - very welcoming and helpful. Even made us fresh coffee and toast to go with the cereals /milk provided.

Had a peaceful nights sleep, Jacqueline and Geoff are friendly warm welcoming hosts. And Geoffs home made granola was heavenly, thank you so so much. The room was warm cosy perfect 💚✨🌳

Me and a group of friends stayed here over Easter and it was the most incredible place. Anton and Penny were so helpful and lovely. The complimentary breakfast and food at the pub was so delicious and the yurt was so cosy, clean and well put together. Would definitely come back to this Airbnb. Penrith was a 15 minute drive away and the village was very picturesque. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing stay with some very helpful hosts

Ambleside and the location of the accommodation were excellent. Andy was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast set me up for a big day out. Dietary requirements were easily met withour any fuss. The room was comfortable and cosy.

Our stay at Rob & Becky’s was lovely! A great location, very close to buses and the train station. The room itself was very tidy and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also wonderful and a great way to start a day of exploring the area.

What a wonderful welcome and place to stay - especially good for walking Hadrian's Wall. Delicious home made food and space for resting - bedrooms and lounge area. Great chat with wonderful hosts - highly recommend staying here, would definitely come back.
