The place was neat and comfortable for family stay. Special mention to the Host Rajeev. He was always responsive and attentive.

I am streemly thankful to the host and his father Mr.Desingh for such a nice property. We have comfortably stayed there with our family. Mr.Desingh (Owner of the property) is very helpful and friendly, he stays on the first floor and property on ground floor for guest. The car parking and place for driver was available. We have used his washing machine as our some clothes got wet due to rain. In our 3 days stay rain added some difficulty in site seen so spent lots of time at the property and made tea and enjoyed few home cooked meal from his kitchen in the property. There is nothing to do at property for kids as no game nor TV was active due to non working of wifi and cable connection which disappointed us. In summary property is excellent for the stay of 6-7 people.

Basil teacher, as she's known around, is one of the most meticulous hosts we've come across. The place is surrounded by lush sylvan and the Meenachil river. It's quiet and wonderful. The quarters we stayed in has such an amusing history to it. It's got beautiful furniture that are at least 70 years old. The home where Teacher resides is over 170 years old and is a stellar construction. Basil teacher is a generous and thoughtful host. We had informed her that one of us has an ankle injury, and coincidentally or not, we found an ice pack in the refrigerator. The kichenette has everything you need. Despite it, she'll happily offer coffee in the morning. The breakfast is heavenly. Special thanks to Shyamala chechi as well, who is the helper. Teacher will also tell you a bit of local history which is very interesting. In all, it was a wonderful and peaceful stay for us.

It was a good stay, spacious and well maintained rooms, can easily accommodate a group of 4-5 people. Host was quite helpful and responsive. There was a parking lot for bike. It is suggested to carry eatables if reaching the stay in evening.

Jerin was an excellent host and was helpful throughout our stay. We were provided with 2 bedrooms with attached bathooms. He provided good food and helped us with local transport to station and back. The rooms were basic but comfortable. There was no washing machine but a person was there to help hand wash the clothes. Bathrooms could have had better fittings but one cannot complain as the proximity to the beach meant any fitting would rust due to the salty sea air. The house is a 2 minute walk from the beach. The beach itself was spectacular, with hardly any debris. The waters were calm and clean. If you go in the early morning you can see the fishermen bring in their catch. We had a lovely trip and must once again thank Jerin for his hospitality.

Great stay

This is our newly found happy place! Away from the maddening crowd, we spent 2 nights 3 days here with our doggo, on her annual vacation! The place is beautiful, the food is awesome and Lavanya and her family's hospitality was beyond words. The beaches are not very far from the Homestay. We visited 3 beaches and all them were beautiful and clean. We carried happy memories from Kannur, and we plan to go back soon. Highly recommended for all those who want a peaceful and relaxed vacation. Thank you Lavanya!! Shashank and Madhumita

A memorable and delightful stay! The house was absolutely beautiful—clean, well-lit, and aesthetically pleasing, with cozy and comfortable beds that made us feel right at home. The staff was polite, attentive, and always ready to help, which made our experience even better. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday, and the team went out of their way to arrange a yummy cake and simple yet thoughtful decorations. It added such a special touch to our trip, and the kids had an amazing time as well. We’ve made some lovely memories here! One small suggestion would be to include a basic induction stove and a few kitchen utensils, as the location is quite remote and food orders from the main kitchen need to be placed well in advance. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with great hospitality!

Deena is a wonderful host. The airBnB itself however needs a lil work as it’s brand new like a good motor for upstairs rooms and perhaps a bug screen. Apart from that the property is absolutely beautiful! Deena and family took really good care of 12 of us. She offered jeep ride from her estate which was a 10/10 experience! Overall we had a really good time!

This place is located right on the main road, very near to the collector's residence. Locality is prime area with lot of restaurants in walking distance (< 1 km). Meena was super helpful. We reached out to her at the very last minute, and she was kind enough to get the place ready in a short notice of less than an hour. Despite the cyclone going on in the city, and frequent power cuts, she was proactive and prompt with any communication and help that we needed. Totally recommend it. Place is also super spacious, 3 large sized bedrooms, with extra large bathrooms. In addition there's a large living room, and a separately large dining room, apart from a decent sized kitchen. We couldn't enjoy outside much coz of rains, but the garden and the bonfire place was also ample-enough. Also there's a parking available within the campus for one car.

Wonderful stay it was. Beautiful location. Very scenic view of mountains. Shout out to our caretaker Shaji. He is amazing . Very helpful with kind words. His food is awesome. Will recommend to people.

The location and the villa itself are what make this a fantastic experience. It's located on the top of a hill, so the views are spectacular. It is also very secluded and away from the town. The best part though, was that we got to see some wildlife right from the villa rooftop. We got to see some mongoose and porcupine, and the highlight was the deers near the villa. The kids loved this. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms are massive and the ground floor ones have amazing views. The food is a bit limited but it's quite tasty and due to it being secluded, the approach road isn't great but all our cars managed even a Skoda that had been lowered. The villa accommodated all 4 of our cars inside too. Overall, it was a great experience and we would recommend it to anyone.

🥰🥰 Easily one of the most magical stays I’ve ever booked. Imagine waking up surrounded by rivers, waterfalls, and misty forests—this place is a nature dream. The rooms were super clean and cozy, the view is unmatched, and the vibe is just chef’s kiss. We were traveling with both kids and elderly family, and everything felt safe and comfortable. Special shoutout to the host on-ground who helped us with everything from kattan chai to a classic Kerala breakfast. We’ll 100% be back There is private river and waterfall access but you need to be careful and try not to get in during rainy season. We visited in June so the access during the monsoon can be difficult. One stretch of the road had water flowing across it like a shallow stream. It’s manageable with the right vehicle and an experienced driver—but do plan accordingly. Still, the destination more than makes up for the journey. We left feeling rested and recharged. Recomending to all my friends💜

The stay at MA Karumbaih’s place was pleasant in a vintage tiled house with the all the basic necessary things required and was clean. The estate experience across the road from the stay where MA’ stays was inspiring as he had various interesting things to share about plants and trees and his collection of jeep grills. We had a boat ride in his private pond which was an experience. Though we didn’t venture out too much, the experience of staying in a vintage house was special. I have to say that Karumbaih the host was exceptionally helpful with regard to any information or activity planned. Thank you

A beautiful getaway place in Kochi where you can enjoy a peaceful and private space on an island. Private boat service to and the from the island for our convenience. Very friendly host with great hospitality and care. Felt exactly like home and had good homely meals. If you want to take a break from the city, enjoy fishing, boating and loose yourself into the nature, this is the place.! Happy that we been there.✌🏼

Awesome place to stay & host is very supportive. Place to stay is very clean, calm & very good for family. They provide basic stuff everyday like eggs, milk, bread, biscuit & also give seasonal fruits available on the farm. There will be firecamp & barbeque if you wish to use. Little away from the city, there is no noise of vehicles & also very less people around. Host will be available everytime whenever you need any help. Maid will be available everyday for cleaning except Sunday. If you need anything from town, host will arrange a person to deliver it to your stay. Town is also very nearby if you need anything.

Solivagant is a little building on a terrain with a few other accomodations (Exuberance Stays) in an amazingly beautiful environment. I had a very pleasant stay. Bhijit (the owner) was informative about how to get to the location and I felt very well taken care of with all the help of Pranav (the caretaker of the accomodation).

Beautiful and peaceful home stay. The hosts, her parents, the staff and doggos are all extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are clean, well equipped. Their breakfast is great , and they are also eco conscious. Definitely go there and enjoy!

This stay is located right opposite to Kavvayi and offers an amazing view. It truly gave us a homely feeling. The person who assisted with check-in was very helpful, ensuring we were comfortable and even guided us to nearby restaurants and must-visit spots. We had a refreshing and enjoyable stay. Thank you!
