Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kennedy Bay

Ryan’s house was exactly what we’d hoped for on our last 4 nights in NZ. The view looking out over the ocean absolutely made our stay! We had everything we needed to do as much as or as little as we liked. The location is very close to the shops by car and definitely walkable (though hilly). We walked to the Cathedral Cove track which we would highly recommend and were fortunate it had re-opened recently. Make sure you do the extra lookout viewpoint loop, the views are incredible. Ryan was responsive, friendly and helpful when communicating. We would recommend Ryan’s home and would definitely stay again if we came back!

Bob and Jess has a beautiful house with an amazing view that you can wake up too. House was so cozy and warm and then as hosts were so helpful whenever I needed to ask them something. The house was clean and had even extra things that we forgot to bring so that was super amazing. 10/10 recommend this place. Will definitely come back again

Very clean for a pet allowed place. A very comfortable, quiet and safe place to stay. Equipped with whatever a guest may need. We were tempted to expand our leaves and stay more. Extremely recommended! Thanks for the great experience.

Great bach with lots of space, worked for our family group perfectly (including our two dogs - really appreciate you being pet friendly). Liked that the kitchen/lounge area was upstairs to take advantage of the view. Loved the window seat and the outdoor shower was very handy after being at the beach. Proximity to the beach was great too. Responsive comms throughout with the host. Otama Bay is such a special place, we all enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

A beautiful, modern, lakefront home. We loved our stay and we must say the bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable!

The most magnificent house with the most beautiful view. There is so much to see and do. The house is well equipped with everything you will need. We enjoyed the boat tour and the hot beach where you dig a hole in the sand and make your own little pool of hot water. Friendly people all over town. Had a wonderful time!

An absolutely sensational trip away that my husband and I will never forget!! Tranquil, well equipped, sparkling clean & completely quiet. This has been one of our most favorite trips away. Our favorite bit was having all of the native birds come up and check us out, we made friends with a moorepork who visited us each night. What a special and spectacular spot. 10/10 recommend! Thank you for allowing us to share your wonderful space.

Lovely modern home on river by beach. Beautiful, quiet. Enjoyed kayaking from house to house wish we stayed longer!

The apartment is spacious and modern with stunning views over the marina. It is well equipped with everything you could need. We received clear instructions making it easy to find and access the property. We had a very enjoyable few days exploring the beautiful coastline around Whitianga.

We had an amazing stay at David and Sue’s. Everything was as described. Such a spacious yet homely feel with absolutely everything we could want. David was very approachable and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here. Would love to return

Eileen’s house at Opito Bay is fabulous!! absolutely stunning location right on the beach at the south end. The house is very spacious, especially the kitchen lounge dining area which is all open plan. Great also to have the sleep out if you have a couple of extra people with its own toilet, and amazing outdoor shower amongst the trees, well you can take a shower and look at the view, idyllic ! Big covered out outdoor deck on the backside of the house which is gives options if the weather is not good. The house is very modern and immaculate. Will definitely be back!!

The sea facing view from the property was awesome. The host was very supportive and responsive. It had everything which a family with kids want. Loved the amazing collection of music cd’s and family games to play with kids. I really loved this place and want to recommend for families.

We had planned to stay a few years ago but sadly Covid stopped our plans so it had been a long time coming and it did not disappoint in the slightest! The location was perfect and the house was spacious and grand yet had cosy areas to sit around the fire, all the games the kids could dream of a a chefs dream kitchen! Not to mention the spa and the wonderful bath for those of us that wanted to simply relax! We have already booked again and can’t wait! What a find xx

Great to deal with the host, just everything was perfect. Flexible check in and check out process with great communication. The place was spotless and beds are very comfortable. One of the best air bnb places that we ever tried. We will definitely come back again.

Fantastic stay in Matarangi! Beautiful house with beautiful finishings. Very well equipped and had everything you could need. We loved the little touches of luxury everywhere. Super easy walk to the beach, we loved using the big beach trolley to get to and from with all the gear. Amazing location! We travelled over from Switzerland and loved everything Matarangi had to offer. A slice of paradise! Thank you for sending the belongings left behind! We hope to be back in the future! Thank you!

This is a fabulous place to stay especially for families with a range of ages. It had everything we could wish for. Cindy & Jon were wonderful hosts.

A really lovely house - spacious with a great outside entertainment area. The location was perfect for making the most of Coromandel and the surrounding area.
