The Hostel of Maine is a fantastic escape in Carrabassett Valley. Easy to find and the staff is very warm and welcoming.

We very much enjoyed our stay and could see the prominence it must have in spring and summer!!

Scott was an incredibly warm and welcoming host. He greeted my partner and I on check in, showed us around the property, and gave us great local recommendations for food. The room was very spacious with a cozy fireplace and awesome jacuzzi tub. The decor was tasteful and homey. The hot tub and sauna were such a nice touch and we enjoyed relaxing in them! We also appreciated the library, the coffee/tea, and pastries that were out. Breakfast was also delicious. We plan to come back very soon!

Prepare for a lovely stay in a well maintained old mansion! The garden is beautiful along with a great breakfast.

Any time you are in the Dexter Maine area you should stop in to The Brewster Inn...

This was the third time for my family to live here. I look here like my another home in USA,because my son lived Dover for four years . Although i don’t know can i have a chance to come back again in the future,i never forget this place and Mark &Tina.

We loved the beauty of the rural setting and found many helpful and welcoming amenities.

Beautiful house from the 1800's with lovely common sitting area with big windows. Mark and Tina have a great eye for detail and take very good care of their home. Delicious breakfasts were served in communal room looking out to the back gardens. I'd recommend their B&B to anyone for an experience of comfort and being well taken care of.

We would absolutely stay again! The record player in the room is a great touch and everything you need is conveniently in the room. Alex is a great host and very welcoming!

Great value, walking distance to downtown.

What a gem of a place - thanks to the time, attention and care of Alex, his wife and their staff! We would definitely choose to return for a longer stay next time we are in the area.  The property is immaculate, both indoors and out. Cabin #16 is well appointed with thoughtful touches - comfortable bedding and furniture throughout, beautiful nature-centric coffee table books for a quiet evening learning more about Maine, and a sparkling bathroom with quality soaps and towels. We commented several times on the cute details and the cleanliness of the cabin which made our stay so cozy and enjoyable. Cabin #16 was perfect for our group of 3 adults. Beautiful ocean view at the front and great access to many miles of walking trails out back!  A few minutes drive to downtown Belfast, plus wonderfully situated to many great towns nearby. Do yourself a favor and book a cozy cabin stay, you won't regret it!

We checked in for just one night during shoulder season, Chris was great at the front desk during check in and the room was clean and perfect for what we needed. Great view and great location for downtown Rockland!

This was a great option for an Event at Sugarloaf. The location is easy to get to/find and is a gorgeous spot by the lake. I so appreciate the rustic details like the candles in the hall. The water was hot and great water pressure and the space provided the cozy retreat we needed. Also appreciated the coffee in the room☕️

Gorgeous view of the lake from our room! Very comfortable bed . Loved the thick towels and soft washcloths in the bathroom. Absolutely a gem !

Brad's place was super easy to find, our room was very clean and extremely cozy and comfortable. After reading several reviews prior to our booking, we weren't sure if Brickyard Hollow (the restaurant on the first floor) would be open or not because the listing mentions that these rooms are above the restaurant but we learned that it's seasonal. Overall, we had a fabulous stay and would definitely stay again.

quiet, restful spot - everything you needed in the room

Conveniently located ! Thoughtfully restored vintage cottage motel . Thankful that people are restoring instead of building new . Convenient to park right outside of door and to have our own porch . Love these roadside treasures ! Pristine grounds and buildings inside and out . Across the road from ocean so unfortunately another motel is in between making water view limited . Still a very nice place to stay . Highly recommended.

A bit loud, and easy to hear neighbors, but overall a great place to stay and close to Sugarloaf.
