Ben Reoch Boutique Suite, Dramatic Loch Views

SaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely few days up in Tarbet. My favourite thing was our view of the loch! The accommodation has everything you need and is very peaceful and comfortable. We also made use of the bikes to enjoy a loch-side ride (but not the kayaks this time!) We were car-free for our trip so Karl helpfully suggested where was within walking distance, like the Kirk O' the Lochs restaurant. He also very kindly asked during our stay if he could pick us up any supplies (milk, tea, coffee and some snacks were very welcome when we arrived, and I was very grateful for the lemonade - thank you!)

Turf roofed self catering lodge

JuneRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Earthern House probably provides the best views on Islay. The house is situated high on the hillside so there are views right across the bay to Port Ellen and it’s lovely to sit and watch the yachts and ferries moving in and out of the port. The house was very well equipped with quality appliances , utensils , pans and crockery and the King size bed was very comfortable. The house is very convenient for touring the distilleries and there are lovely beaches nearby.

Romantic Artist's Cottage, Tighnabruaich

StevenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Heather was a great host. Communicative, helpful and thoughtful. The accommodation is a unique space with very quirky features. The bedroom is serene , tranquil and the peacefulness assisted in a great nights sleep. It is a retreat from a busy world in the most marvellously scenic village. For the price we paid, it was great value for money. Thank you Heather.

#6 Shore Cottages, Kames

RuthRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great place to stay for exploring the more rural parts of Scotland. Beautiful, unspoiled countryside. the rain we had just enhanced the beauty of the mountains and rivers. The flat had amazing views from the window. it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We would certainly recommend it to friends.

The place was extremely clean and very comfortable. Amazing bed and the bath was huge! The walk down to the sea was lovely (even in the rain) and fantastic burgers from their cafe onsite!

Cosy Coastal Cottage with Woodburner & Views

SadieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a special place. As soon as we came up the drive and saw the view of the mountains in the distance we knew we were in for a treat. The cottage was extremely well equipped. We enjoyed playing the games that were provided and we had taken our puzzle board which we enjoyed doing in the garden. We ate outside every evening and morning as the weather was so incredible. Comfy beds and bed linen. The log fire was so nice to have in the evenings when the weather turned chilly. All the basics were at the cottage… toilet roll/kitchen roll/ washing up liquid/ tea/ coffee/sugar/ hand wash/ body wash. Only small thing to note (which was my fault for not reading the list of amenities properly) is that there is no freezer. Not an issue at all just worth noting before you shop. Parking was easy right outside the door. The lane was fine in our Skoda Fabia… just take it slow. Saw deer from the garden. Definitely didn’t need to WiFi… there is so much to do it was nice to switch off.
