Monthly Rentals in Kefalas

Kefalas is a great village to stay in, its very typical Greek and not spoiled and touristic. It has two nice restaurants, two little supermarkets for groceries, al within walking distance. The location is great to travel to Chania, Rethimnon, Georgioupoli, but also Aptera, Lake Kournas, Plakias, or walk one of the Gorges. The house is unbelievable with multiple lighted places to sit in the garden of balcony. So if you want Sun or Shade it is easy to find. The house is very spacious with 3 nice bedrooms, and also room to relay and sit as well downstairs as upstairs. You can park your car on the own terrain next to the house.

My husband and I have only stayed 4 nights at Nikos' Kafenion, but it was a real pleasure. The place is an architectural gem, in an old, charming traditional house, and we were delighted to blend with the local community, even for a few days. We had dinners at a taverna in the village, among locals, kids, cats and dogs, and went for an evening coffee at the coffee place in the vicinity, too. It was our greatest pleasure to enjoy our breakfasts on the terrace, and to spend late evenings there, too. It is a quiet place in a nice village, and that was all that we needed for our vacation. Nikos has a well deserved reputation. He was friendly, helpful, attentive, answered to all our questions, and gave us valuable suggestions, every time. We've rented one of his cars and went to different beaches in the area, and to Kournas Lake. We would love to return to Crete and stay again at Nikos, and we definitely appreciate his hospitality and generosity. Efcharisto poli!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful traditional stone house in Chania! The property is spacious, full of character, and the perfect blend of comfort and charm. The pool was a highlight, providing a refreshing escape on warm days, and the terrace was a magical spot to relax in the evenings and enjoy the stars. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their warm hospitality added to the overall experience, and we truly felt free to enjoy our vacation without any worries. My family and I left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing retreat in Chania.

Everything was as described, the photographs are spot on. Nikos was a great host, very proactive and quick to help in fact we felt right at home. We had two of our grown up Grandchildren with us and they thoroughly enjoyed the villa too!
