Unique place at a good rate close to Shimla but away from crowds and clutter. In a peaceful orchard setting. Views of snow peaks is a big bonus. Food is modern and of high quality. Friendly host and his father who spent lot of time chatting with us, allowing us a lot of flexibility and prompt service. It goes beyond a regular Airbnb, with lot of focus on service and warmth. Makes sense for a large group since there are 2 cottages/buildings with a common area. Good for families, kids. We were there in spring, still needed a bonfire to keep us warm. Must be amazing in winters and we missed the full bloom of the flowers. Kufri is closeby, Narkanda peak is an hours drive and so is Shimla. Work friendly as well, Internet never dropped.

The property is located in between apple orchards. The views are pretty nice. This location is away from the city, as we were only passing by this location didn't suit us. In case you only wish to stay at the property and don't want to visit the places around this place is great, otherwise look for a hotel near the main highway. The final approach road around 200m is a risky narrow mud road on the side of the cliff, I have been driving in the mountains for a long time and i have a 4WD vehicle, in case you are new to driving in the mountains AVOID THIS PLACE.

The hosts felt like family from the get go. Helped us find the place by instructing the driver from the bus station, and receiving us at doorstep. A good distance from the city, very peaceful neighbourhood, giving us a slice of a small village life with super friendly and helpful people. Extremely affordable for the quality of stay; the hosts are just wonderful human beings trying to build genuine bonds and memories with people all around the world. Their hospitality was second to none. We had very tasty traditional home cooked food on all our days courtesy of Mrs Reena who treated us like real family. Had wonderful interesting conversations with Mr Hem, access to their lovely terrace and lots of local suggestions and personal recommendations even with our further trip to Sangla. The host couple also personally accompanied us on a beautiful and peaceful walk through the Shimla Water Catchment Wildlife Sanctuary. We wish them all the best! And we're definitely visiting again.

We had a great time staying at the place . The place is near Chaili forest , it is surrounded by Apple plantation and dense forest . Brij - was very proactive , in evening he made a bone fire 🔥, we had great evening . Thanks Kalyan ji and Brij & family for lovely home cooked food
