Wonderful place in the woods! Primitive cottage -- that's the point -- with a luxury of silence and beauty around it. The cabin is warm, even when the surroundings are cold. Absolutely stunning scenery. We were there in April: singing ice, melting water, reindeer, birds, the nature in the process of waking during the snow. Lena is incredibly helpful and welcoming. We would love to go back!

charming little cozy house. Very functional. Located in this beautiful place that is Kvikkjokk, gateway to Padjelantaleden, Kungsleden and Sarek.

We stayed 3 times at Anna Monica's Appartment which we used as our "basecamp" in between multiday hikes (Muddus, Aktse & Skierfe) and some sightseeing around Jokkmokk. The comfort of the accommodation and the hospitality of Anna Monica made this a nice experience. ps: we also enjoyed observing a red-throated loon on the lake!

Nurnihal has conveniently furnished the apartment. It has a staircase in the part of the house that leads into the sleeping area. For a short stay, the small apartment is highly recommended. At this address you are in the center of the village and after about 10 minutes at the train/ bus station.
