Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Jersey City

Mark is a great host. Very responsive and proactive in checking in to see how things are going and if there’s anything you need. The space is very cool—historic and decorated accordingly. Although an older house, kept very clean and in working order which is more than I can say for a lot of the more moderns places nowadays where we’ve stayed. The location is a bit tucked away affording you some nice privacy. Would definitely recommend and great for families as well.

Ben's place is a wonderful find with a wonderful host. His home is very comfortable and spacious. The location is very close to many restaurants, PATH station and Liberty Park with ferries over to Manhattan. Yet, the neighborhood was quiet -- it was easy to get a good sleep at night. We appreciated the parking space in front, great internet for work and use of the W/D. Checking in and out was a breeze! Thanks for having us stay, Ben.

Der Aufenthalt in Christians Wohnung war durchweg gut. Die Kommunikation war hervorragend. Christian hat fast umgehend geantwortet, wenn man ihm geschrieben hat. Dazu hat er von sich aus auch Empfehlungen für Restaurants gegeben, die in der Nähe sind. Die Umgebung war gut. Eine tolle Mischung aus Ruhe aber zum Teil belebter Nachbarschaft (aber ohne Lärm). Die Wohnung entsprach komplett den Bildern in der Anzeige. Worauf wir beim Buchen einfach nicht geachtet haben, ist dass die Wohnung kein Fenster hat. Alles läuft über kleine Klimageräte. Wir sind es einfach gewohnt jeden Tag zu lüften. Das hat uns nicht groß gestört, aber vielleicht sollte man darauf achten, wenn man nicht und das einem nicht so zusagt. Das ist einfach anders als bei uns in Deutschland. Christian selbst haben wir nur einmal kurz gesehen, da war er sehr angenehm und freundlich. Uns hat der Aufenthalt bei Christian sehr gefallen und wir empfehlen ihn und seine Unterkunft zu 100% weiter. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Great stay for our group of 9! We stayed 4 nights and found the rooms compact but sufficient since we were out exploring NYC most of the time. Emmanuel was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. He provided an extra house key when our group split up and allowed us to use the washer and dryer (including detergent), even though it was initially blocked off. The dryer wasn’t working properly due to a clogged vent, which we partially cleared and reported — Emmanuel appreciated the heads-up and said it would be fixed. Check-in/out was smooth, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. The 5 bedrooms were perfect for our group, and though we didn’t use the cute backyard due to rain and being out, it was a nice touch. The only downside was that the floors were a bit dusty on arrival. Overall, it was a great place to stay and worked really well for our trip. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! From start to finish, everything was seamless. Alicia was incredibly responsive and friendly. She lives downstairs, but you’d never know unless you happen to run into her and if you do, she’s a total gem. Talking with her feels like reconnecting with an old friend. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious, and exactly as described. There was plenty of room to relax, and the home was thoughtfully stocked, including toiletries in the bathrooms, which was a great touch. The backyard was a highlight. It was perfect for gathering with family and friends. It’s a great space to unwind and spend quality time outdoors. A fun bonus: Alicia let us try her new Ninja grill, which was awesome! We had so much fun using it that now my family wants one too. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would not hesitate to come back. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway!

David e Lorena são anfitriões únicos, extremamente hospitaleiros e gentis. Foi , de longe, a acolhida mais calorosa que recebemos em um AirBNB fora do Brasil. A casa é limpa e muito bem equipada, tem de tudo, nunca vi igual em nenhuma outra hospedagem. Eles realmente pensam em tornar mais fácil a vida do hóspede. A casa fica entre duas avenidas com muito comércio e excelentes opções. Com um único ônibus, você vai direto para Manhattan, o que é muito prático. If you’re staying in NJ local and have a car or in Elizabeth proper, look no further than this listing. Peaceful neighborhood with a gate. Beautiful and comfortable rooms kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen was fully stocked on utensils, bathroom with all amenities, and the bed mattress is heavenly. Everything matches so it’s a great vibe. These are by no means detractors but honest feedback for the host who can make this A+ listing an A++. 1) need a table to eat / work on comfortably! having only the ottoman was worrying with a carpet where drinks or food can stain underneath it if spilled 2) separation between floors could be more clear. Guests upstairs tried to open our (locked) door from the interior one night. No big deal 3) living room AC unit drips water onto the window sill / marble table / electric outlets. we put a towel to catch all the water throughout our trip but seems the unit condenses easily even when it’s hot or cold outside and it’s not on

Self-check-in with code received via the app, so unfortunately I never met Dina. Unit was absolutely immaculate, with plenty of clean towels and linens, coffee, tea, and video games! There were also several TV networks/apps available. In addition, there is a nice walking trail in the nearby park, only two doors down at the dead-end of this block. Great location near parks and thriving downtown with pubs and restaurants!

My partner and I enjoyed a pleasant stay in New Jersey while attending the Cowboy Carter concert at MetLife Stadium. The home is conveniently located just a short drive from MetLife Stadium, the American Dream Mall, and NJ Transit, which provides easy access to New York City.

Wir haben uns in Wohnung von Cecia sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Appartement war sehr sauber und wie auf den Bildern abgebildet. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und sicher. Die Kommunikation war schnelll und freundlich und wir haben von ihr und ihrem Mann viele wertvolle Tipps bekommen. Vom JFK Flughafen waren es ca. 2 Stunden mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr zum Appartement. Um nach Manhatten zu kommen gibt es mehrere Buslinien, die Haltestellen sind 2 bis 10 Minuten entfernt. In der Nähe des Appartements sind auch fußläufig viele Restaurants und Bäckereien, sowie Supermärkte. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt. :-)

Alex was an extremely responsive and helpful host. My friend and I were in town for a weekend for a wedding. Montclair is a beautiful city with so many things to do but also not too far to access the city (40 minutes) if you would like to make a day trip. Alex's place made for a relaxing stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

L’appartement est sympa, propre et bien équipé. La literie est bonne. L’appartement est situé à 35-40 minutes en bus de New York. L’arrêt de bus le plus proche se trouve à 7-8 minutes de marche dans le quartier Latinos. Les indications et conseils donnés par Thomas et Carolyn sont précieux. Les premiers grands magasins sont à 20 minutes à pied pour Target et 25 minutes pour Aldi (ça reste tout de même sportif pour y aller: un belle pente avec 60 mètres de dénivelé) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sergia was a great host! I really appreciated the local tips and the little extra touches, like having croissants for breakfast, which was super helpful since I arrived late and didn’t get a chance to grab groceries. It was really easy to communicate with her, both in person and over messages. Overall, a great spot to stay while I was in town for work!
