Holiday rentals with lake access in James Island

Beautiful home and surroundings. 3 couples with personal spaces and large communal spaces to gather. Very comfortable and clean. Recommend Kiss Cafe for breakfast. We also went through Savor Charleston and had Chef Morgan and her assistant prepare and serve a dinner at the house- fabulous food and was relaxing to just enjoy the views and the wonderful home. Highly recommend! It's no wonder their home receives the 5 star reviews!

We enjoyed our stay so much! We were a group of nine and had so much space and enjoyed being on the water and loved the view of the turtles and the ducks. Ubers were easy to get and it was so close to Charleston and the beaches.

Meghan was a top notch host - not only great and quick responses to our many questions but we all appreciated the attention to detail with things thought of for guest comfort. We called kitchen drawer the “go to” drawer as it had scissors, tape, extra charger cords, bday candles, matches etc. All of us commented on the comfort of the beds. This is a great home for 5-6 women as it offers lots of space. Thank you Meghan.

This house is as described - beautiful, spacious. Lots of rooms for privacy or for gathering to talk, watch movies or play games. The kitchen is great, amazing stove, well-equipped. The sleeping areas are very comfortable. We had a group of 7. The open air decks are great for lounging. The glassed in decks are great for early morning or late evening nature watching (loved the ducks and alligators), having coffee and desserts or wine sipping. The home exceeded our expectations and our host was friendly and responsive.

This might be the best vacation rental we have ever had. My grandson liked this vacation more than Disney World. It was the perfect place to relax and just enjoy being with family. Mark was great and available if we had any questions. We will definitely be coming back.

We loved our stay here. The decor in the house is so fun, and the property is just absolutely gorgeous. We would absolutely stay here again!

We traveled to Charleston to commemorate a 70th birthday party. The house was beautiful, clean and well supplied. Location was central to all the places that we wanted to visit. The outdoor patio was fantastic, just be aware that you must be indoor by nine pm, which was a bit of a bummer, as we would have loved to enjoy the space and hot tub at night.

This unit is in Bay Point with views of the boats coming and going from the marina, and beautiful marshes. The deck is quite private. I cooked the whole time and had everything I needed in the kitchen, with the bonus of ocean views. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the pull out sofa gives more sleeping options. The master bath has a washer/dryer, garden tub, and beautiful walk-in shower. Garbage bins outside are numerous and easy to get to. The beach is right across the street and is not ever overcrowded- I was there on 4th of July and it was pleasantly populated but not overwhelming. My teenage kids rented bikes from the Wyndham folks and safely roamed around, went to the pool and the gym independently with their Wyndham wrist bands. This island is very safe and remote. One of my favorite things about Edisto is that the grocery store is a Food Lion and the prices are normal- not inflated. The only problem is that if you come here, you will not want to leave.

Paradise! Matthew was so friendly and accommodating. The the view from home was magnificently breath taking! If you're into fishing, the family upstairs caught plenty! I have found my home away from home!

Chris is such an awesome host! He was very quick to respond when asked questions and very respectful. His place was exactly as described. We look forward to returning for another trip!

Dave helped us get exactly what we wanted. A fun-filled week of beach, pools, great restaurants and numerous activities to do. He responded immediately when I had questions and the check-in was easy. We stayed in the best location of the resort and enjoyed our beautiful view!

Quiet, private, great layout, very cute. Loved how quiet and private it was yet in walking distance to King Street and the downtown tourist sites. Very clean and well-appointed, bathrooms larger than expected. Would definitely stay here again!

We decided on a quick beach trip and selected this place as we have stayed here previously a few years ago. The place was clean. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes. The large bedroom had a king bed and bunk beds which were very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. All in all we had a peaceful trip!!!

We loved our stay there, great location and so much to do on Seabrook. We loved the space and the kitchen provided us the ability to cook breakfast each morning while watching the fish jump in the pond. We would definitely book this location again!

great home with lots of space and privacy. Quiet and lots of nice beaches and bike trails around. very clean and an interesting setting. Lots of fun games to play and the wifi and tv worked really well. It was a bit further than I expected but if you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. My only suggestion would be to provide some beach towels and maybe a few beach chairs. I loved the home and would book again if I am in the area.
