Villa holiday rentals in James Island

The condo at Mariners Walk was quiet, clean and a very easy walk to the beach and community pool. We forgot our parking pass and the rental company was quick to get security to deliver us a pass for our stay. There is security going into Wild Dunes, so you’re required to show when you drive in and out. Can’t beat this for a quiet beach getaway!

This condo was absolutely beautiful! The location was peaceful with a great view and right by a beach boardwalk. The inside looked to have been recently updated and it was done with exquisite taste. The kitchen was gorgeous and the bathrooms had a spa-like feel. It was decorated beautifully and tastefully. I appreciated that it had everything needed, but was clutter-free!

We had a great time staying here. ESPM was very communicative and provided clear instructions on arrival and departure. Be sure to rent bikes and ride them on the beach and the many miles of shaded trails and roads. Super fun! I'm happy to say we did not use the TV much but when we did, we were pleased to learn that we could screenshare to the main Samsung TV from our Apple devices which made movie night a breeze. Thanks for the relaxing getaway!

Our stay with Vacasa was easy and lovely, just as described. The home was more spacious than I imagined and the team was extra communicative, even checking in the day after we arrived to see how everything was going. The house was clean and comfortable! Thank you.

This was our first time to the Charleston area and it did not disappoint. The house was perfect, great location with lots of restaurants and things to do. The house was just as described and shown in the pictures. We would definitely stay there again!

This is a fantastic place to stay, especially for families. The Unit is exactly as the pictures show- beautiful views of the ocean and the open floor plan is lovely. We appreciated how it was stocked with essentials and the proximity close to the store was so convenient. Our family loved riding bikes on the beach and going to Night Herron Park. I wish we could rate it higher than 5 stars because it exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful home. Perfect location. Extremely clean. All you ever want to do, eat or see is walking distance. Had an Amazing time with my family. This may be the only place I ever stay for future beach vacations.

We loved our stay at Fore Shore! The home was exactly as advertised---the kitchen is amazing and all the rooms were spotless and perfectly decorated. Seabrook Island was as wonderful as expected. The home had everything we needed and Erika was very responsive to any questions. The food in the island restaurants was amazing and shockingly affordable and priced similar to non-beach locations. We loved jet-skiing nearby (Dolphin watersports), renting bikes from Island Bikes, and playing on Ocean winds golf course. Also I do recommend seeing the nearby Angel Oak--stunnng! Two beaches and the pool to choose from--our favorite was the calm river beach. We would love to return and stay here again.

Shella by the sea is amazing! You feel at home as soon as you walk into the home. The decor is inviting and the home is very clean! We were surprised how quiet it was in the home as well. We loved how close the unit was to the beach, pools, ice cream and the cute local shop! Brian’s recommendations were helpful in figuring out where to go and what to do on the island. Equestrian center is a must! We hope to visit again this fall!

This property is right across the street from beach access and a 5 minute walk to the main pool, restaurant, and golf courses. Amanda was very responsive and proactive ensuring we had everything we needed prior to check-in, especially our amenity card information. She even let us check in an hour early to accommodate our toddlers nap time. We stayed as a family of 5 and this villa was the perfect size. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a beach vacation in a great location!

We loved our time at the Beach Club Villas! The unit was updated, clean, and had everything we needed for a week at the beach. Nothing beats that view of the ocean, but we were also so happy with the location and proximity to restaurants and activities. Very walkable! Will definitely be back.

We loved our spring break stay at sandpiper. We appreciated the hosts’ communication and the space was perfect for our family of four. Loved the proximity to the beach club.

Michael does a great job looking out for his guests. The communication was excellent. There was plenty of room for each family to have their own space for us (6 adults and a toddler). The property was even better than expected and we wouldn't change a thing! I wouldn't hesitate to rent the house again or have to trust Michael with finding us another property.

Had a relaxing weekend in this perfect little condo. very clean, very quiet. we enjoyed being walking distance to the beach and club. nice view of the golf course where we got to see multiple deer, and alligators!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean and comfortable, which made it easy to settle in and relax. One of the best parts was how close it was to the beach—just a short drive, which was perfect for our family. It made beach outings super convenient and enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway!

We had a wonderful time! The location was perfect, the condo was laid out well and all was as advertised.

This property was extremely clean and tastefully decorated. We would absolutely book this rental again. The management company was wonderful to work with and always responded quickly. Please Note: If you have mobility issues or problems with stairs, this would not be a good fit for you as there are stairs to access the unit and each of the 3 bedrooms are on a different level which requires stairs. Also, if you’re renting a golf cart, please be advised that there is no external outlet to charge it overnight. We had a workaround but it’s something to plan for. Areas for improvement: Extra pillows. The primary bedroom’s pillows were so uncomfortable that we did not sleep well the first night. The following nights we liberated pillows from our kid’s rooms and were able to get some sleep. Some extra pillows and blankets in each bedroom would be a welcome addition to this cozy rental property.

This place was a dream, it was extremely clean, well decorated and very comfortable. Plus, it was bigger than it appeared to be in photos, which was a plus! Being in the resort was a HUGE plus, we traveled with our toddler and he was able to get use of the park up the street, resort perks, the pool, and of course the beach. I loved staying right on the beach and how private it was. No crowds and flourishing wildlife. I would highly recommend this place and will return next time we are in SC. It is pricy but worth it.

We loved being on the water and having beach access. It is priceless not to have to carry all your things several blocks just to get to the beach! Everything matched the description and we felt very safe. As a family of 5, having 3 full bathrooms was fantastic.
