We had a pleasant stay at this great property. The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, far from the city's noise, yet close to stores with all essentials. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, each with an attached bathroom. The large balconies offered stunning views, perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee, and the host was friendly. Overall, a wonderful place I’d definitely recommend to others. However, a few concerns: The caretaker was not friendly. Although a well-equipped kitchen was advertised, we were denied access initially. Only after multiple requests was access granted with just an induction heater. Unexpected maintenance charges were collected, which weren’t mentioned during booking. The water supply was stopped on our last day before checkout, and several people came asking about our stay and kitchen usage, which was uncomfortable. Lesson: Always confirm amenity access and extra charges with the host beforehand.

I had a wonderful stay at Megha and her sister’s homestay in Manali. The location is perfect—peaceful, surrounded by nature, and away from the usual tourist rush, making it ideal for a relaxing break. We reached late at night with my wife, and they were kind enough to provide flexibility with our checkout time, which we really appreciated. One of the highlights of our stay was the lovely conversations we had with them, especially about environmental issues in Lahaul and Baralacha. It was great to meet hosts who are not only warm and welcoming but also genuinely aware and concerned about the environment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, meaningful stay in Manali.

Cedar Manor, built in 1915 is a stunning yet cozy home. The house has 2 bedrooms, each with antique old school fireplaces, you can buy firewood to enjoy those cold snowy months. The lawn is the centre of this property, huge and lush with unique flowers. Our dog, Elsa had a ball being free within this gated property. The interior and location make this place perfect for couples or a small group of friends to gather in a peaceful environment. Ultimately, there is a hot spring near by, the icing on the cake.

This was a great find for us. Bhupinder is a great host and he gave us great suggestions during our stay. The place is an authentic vintage Himachali house with a great view. Their food is amazing too.
