The Little Hemp Cabin

AlexRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic three day stay at the Little Hemp Cabin! The location is stunning, with beautiful views that make for a very relaxing experience. The cabin, kitchen and bathroom are all finished to a good standard, and everything was clean, comfortable, and well thought out. Ben and Emma were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends and family!

11 Tarskavaig (The Willows), B&B, IV46 8SA -Room 1

It was a nice bedroom with an attached bathroom. A queen bed and a twin bed it was great for a one night stay. It was in a very, quiet, rural area with a 5 mile, one lane road off of the highway. A nice to-go breakfast was provided. We arrived and the instructions were on the front door that told me which upstairs bedroom was mine. Another 3 girls that rented the other room, were in the 2nd bedroom upstairs. There was a shared microwave and mini fridge outside the two bedrooms upstairs.

Bothan by the Sea | Isle of Skye

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The photos look great but trust me, both the setting and the Bothan are even nicer in person. Tarskavaig is a beautiful, quiet little group of houses in a peaceful setting, but is still easy to get to. The Bothan has everything you could need and is finished to an excellent standard. The hosts were very responsive and kept us right and had recommendations for things happening locally while we were there, although you could happily just sit and do nothing and just watch the world go by from the couch or the chairs outside. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely vacation rental with everything you need for a couples stay. The welcome guide was very useful for all the amazing parts the house had to offer. Rebecca was also very helpful and responsive whenever I had any questions. Would recommend any couple to stay here!

The Shepherd's Hut at 7, Drumfearn HI-30553-F

Cheryl was warm and welcoming. She provided lots of local recommendations for food and activities. The accommodation is quite remote so definitely need a car, but it was beautiful sitting outside, having a glass of wine in the warm summer’s evening. That said, Broadford is only 10 mins or so by car, and Armadale about 15-20. The hut is small but perfectly formed with everything you need. Cheryl also thoughtfully provided some Smidge lotion (as with everywhere on Skye- you can’t escape the midges!) Lovely escape for a few days. It made a great base.

South Skye, Open plan, 2 bedroom cottage, Teangue

Lovely little home away from home, with everything we needed and a great location from which to explore the area. A short drive to restaurants and the car ferry. A good base to explore the Sleat Peninsular. It was spotlessly clean and had all your basic amenities. Very snug and warm house.

Kinloch View Tiny Home Pod 4 Drumfearn IV43 8QZ

HelgaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Quiet, peaceful, and great views. Gillian and family all very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The pod was surprisingly cozy, with hot water on demand in shower and taps. Small space very well organised with everything needed. The two resident sheep were fun to watch, but gave us a wide berth. But the dog (almost as big as a sheep) was happy to see us! Our GPS almost got us there, but seeing the Scottish flag high on flagpole just outside the pod made up for GPS failure!

Fly House

DjaneyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The bothy was great! Penny and Clive are good hosts. Everything was very clean. Bed was a bit tiny for us (we are 1.93m and 1,74m). We were welcomed with chocolate muffins and eggs from their chickens so that’s a 10 out of 10! There’s great food a few minutes further at Eilean Iarmain. The bothy is in the more quiet area of Isle of Skye. The hotspot are in driving distance (30-60 minutes), great views underway so not bad to drive around the island! Broadford is closeby for coffee, groceries and food as well. We had a great stay and would recommend this place to other travellers. Thank you so much Penny!
