Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.

Great place, clean and comfortable. Two minor problems or it would have been perfect, both TV's had minor problems, the one in the bedroom wouldn't show any picture on Youtube and would only buffer on other services. And there were no toilet rolls when we checked in, had to nip to the nearby Aldi to grab a packet.

Excellent base for a stay in Troon. The apartment is a great size, all 3 bedrooms are a good size as is the kitchen and then main living area, which has a lovely view from the balcony of the sea front in Troon. The apartment was very clean and came with 1 parking space and free parking opposite. I would highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Troon.
