Holiday rentals with lake access in Iron River

Another lovely stay at this gem of a place. So convenient to northern Wisconsin and the Duluth / lower North Shore areas. Clean and comfortable set-up with a great deck to watch birds, bunnies and the boat landing. We will be back!

Thank you for providing a wonderful space for a family of 5 to get away! The 4 bedrooms were perfect for our family and everyone had their own space at the end of the day. We loved the sauna and took full advantage of it! This was also the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Thank you, Joe and Lauren!

We had a great stay at the Island Lake Getaway. Fishing was great right off the dock. We were able to use kayaks and pedal boats, and they also had lots of sand toys and games for the kids to play outside. There isn’t anything that could have made this a better stay than it was! We were so impressed with the property, and all the family who came to visit was also blown away by how beautiful it was. We usually book a hotel when we stay in Duluth, but this was so much better for our family of 4.

What a cute place! Quaint clean and so much better than a hotel. Place to stretch out at the end of the day. Walking distance to the lake. When coming back, I’d stay here again!

This is our second time staying here- once again an overall great experience. Cash is a helpful and communicative host. This place was perfect for ice fishing/snowshoeing and family time.

We had a great stay at this home! We loved how clean and homey it was, had gorgeous views, and was walkable to canal park! The beach is gorgeous and was fun to spend time on the upper deck. Opening the windows and listening to the waves was a wonderful way to relax! We would absolutely recommend this home and will be back!

What can you say? This home has a gorgeous private black sand beach in a small cove directly below the house. So beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself is lovely with very nice linens and super comfortable beds and pillows and a charming cabin vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is fantastic- near Split Rock lighthouse, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Falls. The communication about how to check in and what amenities are available is incredibly detailed and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

The apartment was comfortable and clean, would definitely recommend. My two small kids fit on the sofa bed, but it is a very small one!

We had the best time at Tabitha’s! Everything was beautiful! We look forward to coming back on our next trip!

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

So great that we came here a second time! This property is a slice of heaven. Gorgeous sunset views. Kayaks and paddle boats were perfect for our young family being able to paddle to the sand bars and enjoy the lake. “Serenity” is such a perfect description. We will be back again next summer, Lord willing!

It was exactly as it was described. A beautiful studio with easy beach access on both sides. Very clean and with great access to all of the things that Duluth has to offer!

We had a very relaxing stay at the cabin right on Lake Superior. The location was perfect to visit nearby Bayfield. The unit had everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway. The host had amazing communication and we look forward to staying in one of their properties in Bayfield next summer.

Incredible location right over the lift bridge. Easy to get to and find. Central to restaurants and breweries and quick drives to multiple state parks. Great spot

Amazing place to stay right on the beach and in quick walking distance to canal park. Was amazing being right on the beach and being able to enjoy the beach at night and watch the ships come in. Carl was super responsive and quick to respond! Would definitely stay here again!

The floor to ceiling picture window shows the beautiful view of the Lake. The interior is exactly how it appears in the pictures. There were extra touches in every room including a beautifully stocked kitchen, coffees, teas, etc. Clear, subtle instructions in each room. A quiet peaceful getaway. Would definitely rent again. I really enjoyed my 4 nights at Knife River. Paula was very responsive and the home was well equipped and had everything we needed. I enjoyed the near by river trail, smoked fish shop, and candy store. Two harbors is only a 15 minute drive as well. My dog is fearful of other dogs, and this was a great place for her to take a break from city living and enjoy nature without too many other dogs around. I would love to visit again in the winter since it seems there may be some local events going on during that time!

I stayed here with my family for the Madeline Island Marathon and I was very comfortable. Great location and good spot to rest. Lovely views and good kitchen to do my own cooking.

Debbie's cottage is everything the site shows it to be. Staying in this pristine pine cottage nestled on a beautiful Northwoods lake on a quiet road surrounded by birch and pines met every hope and dream for this trip. Especially for my grandson who came with no agenda but to fish. He caught a 12# Northern off their dock! Debbie and Keith were beyond accommodating, so attentive to what we might need. I am so grateful to them and for having had this experience. Strongly recommend this for a Northwoods, lake-life getaway.

The cabin was amazing — so clean and very comfy furniture! We loved the lake views and all the artsy decor. We will definitely be back!!

This location is the perfect spot to disconnect and relax, feels like home right away! The host was very responsive, welcoming and made a late check in easy! I was so grateful for the slow quiet mornings on the porch with a book and coffee in hand. I definitely plan to visit again.
