What a place and what a view! A great time was had by our family of 7 in this amazing place. We had lots of great communication from the host on our stay. It was a place that we shared great meals with the well stocked kitchen and grill, played games and laughed around the amazing north woods dining table, and we were able to get to all the parks and attractions that we wanted with the convenient location on Hwy 61. Thanks so much for a great place to stay...we've already recommended you to a number of friends :)

Great cozy cottage with resort amenities. We used the canoe and kayak and brought out own kayaks at the private lakes. Lots of quiet roads to bike and little destinations to get to - pool, beach, restaurant, golf course. We swam everyday in the lake or at the pool. Great location to explore- so many great little towns from St. Croix Falls to Danbury to Balsalm Lake to Spooner with a lot of food choices. We even caught a ton of panfish ( but threw most back) and had a fresh- caught meal.

Steve was so accommodating!! Allowed us to check in early and was very responsive to our request. The house is beautiful! Watched a doe with her 2 fawns out the living room window. Nice view of lake. Our son loved the golf simulator and our daughter loved the massage chair. Easy walk to the indoor pool for the grandkids. Such a great stay!

Our getaway was absolutely ideal! With ample space for all seven of us, we found the perfect balance of comfort and fun. The two little ones had plenty of room to play indoors with the chilly weather outside. The kitchen was a dream, equipped with everything we needed to whip up delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. We truly can’t express how perfectly this place catered to all our needs—it made our trip unforgettable!

Located across from a school with a playground. The main floor has three rooms, two of them are on the medium large side the third is smaller (perfect for kids room). We had family members with kids visit us and the small room was great for nap time. The basement has a lot of free space, a bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. The kitchen had a good variety of dishes and utensils. Fridge was equipped with condiments and freezer had some food too. The rooms were clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay at this place!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was so quiet and peaceful. There is an eagle’s nest right across from the balcony and it was fun to watch the pair of eagles go about their day. The condo has everything you need from kitchen wares to toiletries. Rice Lake is a little under 30 minutes away and has a Walmart. Birchwood is much closer and they do have a Dollar General which is where we got most of our groceries. The grounds are beautiful. We did not utilize the pool/hot tub so I can’t speak on those. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful family Christmas at this home. The living space was inviting and warm. The kitchen was well documented where everything was located so it was easy to settle in. Jacob was quick to respond to our questions and gave detailed instructions on what needed to be done when we left. I would highly recommend this home for great a accommodation when you have a few people to house. I will consider this house again on our next family gathering.

We arrived at the house in sub zero temperatures and were very happy to be inside the house with the wonderful radiant heated floors. Warm and cozy! Comfortable beds and warm blankets made for restful nights. The view of the bay is beautiful. Moon rising over the horizon reflected on the ice . We heard Great Horned Owls hooting in the distance. Next visit we hope to come in the summer or fall to walk around more and see the lake. Thanks again!

This is our second time staying here- once again an overall great experience. Cash is a helpful and communicative host. This place was perfect for ice fishing/snowshoeing and family time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Debbie’s place. It was comfortable and we felt right at home. We will definitely book again if it’s available when we are visiting.

Wonderful place to stay while up in the North Woods, only 30 minutes to Ashland and 50 to Bay Field. Iron River had restaurants that were actually pretty good and I am overall very happy with the stay. Perfect place for the four of us.

Staying at Jeff and Susan’s was as easy as it gets— smooth check-in, beautiful location with wildlife out the back door (deer routinely passing through the yard), timely responses to questions, and minimal checkout process. Plenty of spices and cookware to feel like a home away from home. Home was very clean and watching the sunset over the lake from the living room never got old. Will certainly be staying here again!

We loved our stay! Michelle was a very responsive, friendly & even let us check out a little late. Loved having a sauna in the basement, of course it takes a little time to heat up, as expected. Bed was comfy, kitchen had everything we needed and loved having coffee and some creamer provided! I didnt think it was gonna be as much of a neighborhood as it was, but I never saw a neighbor. Our dog loved the big back yard and having fires. Bikes were nice to have as well. It was about an hour in a half drive to Bayfield, where we hopped on the ferry to Madeline Island/Apostle Islands. HIGHLY recommend. Great hiking in every direction within 30 mins of the airbnb tho. really enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday. Michelle was truly one of the easiest, friendly and most accommodating hosts I've ever dealt with. Thank You!

We loved our stay at LCO. It was nice and peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing on the dock and fishing. Brent was very helpful!

It was a very comfortable and inviting cabin. We needed a place to sleep over the Memorial Day weekend while packing up my parent’s home nearby. Under different circumstances, it would be a lovely place to spend more time! Sherry was helpful and quickly replied to my inquiries.

Great stay! Everything was perfect for our family. The kids loved how big the deck was, the playground and of course swimming! Beds were 10/10 and cozy blankets. Stocked up with all you need too. We would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful modern home in a beautiful setting! The home is setback from the lake a bit with views of the water through the forest. Which is great, because just a short walk along a well-lit path takes you to the fire pit next to the lake bluff. It makes the outdoor living space feel large. Two homes adjacent to the property but far enough to feel private. The home was immaculate on arrival, with new kitchen/laundry appliances. The floorplan is a "U", with each leg of the U being a large bedroom and the center being the foyer, living room and kitchen. A covered porch is lakeside from the living area. Generously sized bedrooms and bunkbed room could easily fit an air mattress or two if needed for additional children. Couch cover was provided for dog. Erin communicates proactively, including reaching out for a pre-order for local farm/fish food options (that was a first!!). Erin also has a website that is a local guide, which is a thoughtful reference when out-n-about. Don't hesitate.

The home was beautiful, and we were humbled that they trustingly opened up their place to strangers. We felt very welcome. The views are beautiful, and it is easy to catch a delightful breeze from the wrap-around second story deck. If we were to stay at Chelsea and Joel's again, I would most certainly spend more time in respite on the deck. They have various deck furniture to make that possible, from lounge chairs facing the lake, to a complete dining set, to patio chairs. The home had a good amount of privacy from the neighbors despite being located on the top of a hill, as the surrounding trees were kept intact when the home was built and the nearest neighbors a good half mile or more away. The home itself was full of light with large windows, which was a primary reason we chose the place. While the three stories meant that the place had stairs, the floor plan was such that nearly all activities were limited to a single floor. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into the design.

This was a great place for our family to explore the superior Lakeshore both to the West and East. There was plenty of room for all of us- a group of 7.

Great little place. We were in town for the Marathon in Duluth so it was a little bit of a “commute”, but well worth it. Charming little place with everything you need to relax and unwind. Will stay again!!!

This is a great little house within easy driving distance to the many nearby state parks. Very clean, with nice little extras thrown in. Very easy check in and check out. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Towels were so thick and soft I really wanted to take them all home with me - but I resisted. I will say, if you are someone that likes having a topsheet on your bed - you will need to bring one. Not everyone likes the same night temperature setting and it was either have the top quilt on or nothing. I would happily book again next time I am in N. Wisconsin. Thanks for a great stay!
