Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Iron River

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay in this private retreat. Let’s get the minor negative things out of the way since that’s probably why you’re reading this. The fridge water/ice maker were not hooked up, so bring your own ice. The wood for the sauna and fire pit had a bit of moisture in it still which made it difficult to get a good fire going. We did find a deer tick on one of the kids after being in the yard, but that’s going to be anywhere in the area this time of year. But really, that’s it. Now, for the reasons to rent this place… The game room was a hit with our kids (ages 4-10) and the Ping Pong tournament at the end was memorable. Watching them play old games on the arcade that I grew up with was also a treat. The entire place was spotless. The layout and interior design were out of a magazine. The fire pit was huge, yard was nice and recently mowed. Sauna was very neat! Thanks Mark and Jamie!

Great space that was off the main drag yet close enough to get to food/attractions/etc quickly. Very polite, responsive hosts!

Such a great place to stay! We wanted somewhere near the North Shore without all the people. We got to experience Duluth, Two Harbors, and Goosebery Falls State Park, while still coming back to a place both peaceful and with amazing views. Walking down to the river had wonderful views of the fall colors. We wish we would have had time for a fire by the river, but maybe next time. We took Deb’s recommendations for dinner and breakfast places, and both were fantastic. The place was very clean and nice, exactly like the description. Communication was simple and easy. Over all a great experience, hope to return in the future.

We loved this cozy, charming little house. Great kitchen with all we needed to make meals, coffee, and tea. Nice little touches like essential oil diffusers. And the beds were incredibly comfortable and cozy.

I absolutely loved this place very clean and bright. Beautiful decorations and set up super cute. I left my ear buds there and Susan called and texted and mailed them back to me. They where very responsive and helpful. The house is Right near the trails and walking distance to very good restaurants and bars. I will be back here in the winter so I can try some snowmobiling. I love this place the owners are great and I will be back

What can you say? This home has a gorgeous private black sand beach in a small cove directly below the house. So beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself is lovely with very nice linens and super comfortable beds and pillows and a charming cabin vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is fantastic- near Split Rock lighthouse, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Falls. The communication about how to check in and what amenities are available is incredibly detailed and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

We stayed at Cedar Cove for 5 nights with our extended family with an age range of 18 months to 80 years. This house is a perfect place for a multi generation get together. Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful house and furnishings. There are multiple sitting areas and the beds are extremely comfortable. The view of Lake Superior is gorgeous. The house is very well equipped with all the kitchen ware we could have needed. It is also stocked with many good books, puzzles and games. It is a perfect place to get away and relax.

Very nice experience. It was an unbelievablely beautiful house (photos don't do it justice). The hosts were friendly and helpful.

The apartment was comfortable and clean, would definitely recommend. My two small kids fit on the sofa bed, but it is a very small one!

We had the best time at Tabitha’s! Everything was beautiful! We look forward to coming back on our next trip!

Lovely, large space with four, outdoor decks - so nice to be able to step outside from any space in the treehouse. The location is not far from town but also very quiet and peaceful. The space is lovely and very well-appointed; we especially enjoyed the kitchen. Vic was super friendly and gave us great recommendations as to what to see the next day. The island is gorgeous and there is wildlife viewing if lucky! Highly recommended.

Great place to stay in Siren. Holly was super responsive and very pleasant. Small issue. with code for doors but was resolved promptly to the satisfaction of all. Would love to stay at Holly's place again.

Beautiful little place and right by the UW Superior Campus. Very convenient for any activity you're looking to go to on campus, all buildings within a short walking distance.

Kelly did a great job on this space and thought of everything you might need. I loved how spacious it was and the lovely country-feel while still being in the city. Kudos to your efforts. I'd definitely stay again.

The home was decorated nicely, plenty of kitchen pots, pans, and utensils to make a couple of nice meals. Very clean. Beds were comfortable! Plenty of towels and wash clothes. The bottled water in the fridge was very nice. Appreciated the flexibility of a little later check out. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was great, would recommend it. Only advise would be to bring a sound machine if traveling with little kids because the noise travels from the conveniently located pool area and even though the walls of the condo
