Monthly Rentals in Illa de l'Aire

we are just back from an extremely enjoyable week in Carlo's villa. it was just as the photos showed it. a lovely house that we felt right at home in from the get go. the pool and gardens were excellent. peaceful, not overlooked and the pool was cleaned twice while we were there. we barbecued on the patio and enjoyed our evenings there. kitchen was full of everything we needed and the lounge even had a record player. perfect. beds comfy. water hot. we thought it was a great location as a base. there's a hotel across the road for nightcaps. we walked to the beach at Punta Prima. had an excellent meal at Bambu. loved the bakery cafe at Cala Torret. even though we hired a car for explorering there is an excellent taxi service based out of Sant Lluis that Carlo gave us the number for. they were super quick and reliable and took us to Ciutadella and Mahon. we would definitely stay here again if we were ever visiting this part of Menorca. What a lovely stay we had. The house is both comfortable and practical—good beds, plentiful bathrooms, lots of empty drawers and closets to unpack into, and the kitchen well stocked with useful cooking tools and all that we needed. The backyard is an absolute paradise. It was hard to pull ourselves away from the comfy lounges around the pool and the gorgeous garden setting to head out to all that Menorca has to offer. We especially enjoyed the outdoor eating table for meals in the shade. The house is in a peaceful neighborhood, with the sea just a short walk down the street, and close to several beaches and nearby towns for restaurants and shopping. And such a kind and responsive host. I highly recommend this gem. We hope to be back soon.

Stunning cliff-side location in Cala en Porter. Has recently been refurbished to a high standard with 3 double rooms with 3 bathrooms. One bathroom feels like it’s been built into the cliff. Amazing sunsets, we didn’t want to leave. If you’re nimble you can walk down the cliff and access the sea using a small ladder. Kayak trips to visits local caves are quite fun. Johannes couldn’t be more helpful.

We had a lovely week The house was perfect for us, as described. We don't miss anything. The set of houses is charming, with a very large pool and not very busy in this season, so ideal. The sea is very close with a beautiful white sandy cove. The two nearby restaurants are very good, with a special mention for "l'opéra" and its Italian/Spanish waiter. The seafood risotto is delicious😊.
