Monthly Rentals in Ilhéu de Vila Franca

Vila Franca do Campo is a great town to relax every night and explore the entire island. The town has easy access to the main road and a supermarket with everything you need. Parking was easy either in a designated parking area two blocks away or on a side street nearby. The apartment feels very private while also located in the heart of the town. The community is safe and the only sounds you hear at night are the ocean waves. The entire apartment is very modern and clean. The first floor bedroom and bathroom are comfortable and offer a lot of space. The kitchen on the second floor has everything you need (fridge, freezer, micro, oven, stove, pans, silverware, wine bottle opener, coffee maker, kettle, toaster) and the living room on the 2nd floor offers a table for dining, a sofa and extra space. The third floor patio has an amazing view of the ocean and island. We ended every day with a glass of wine on the patio. I hope to return to the lovely island of São Miguel soon!

This location was perfect as a home base for our trip to Sao Miguel. We had rented a car and any part of the island was less than an hour drive away. This made it very easy for us to get out hiking, eat at one of the various delicious restaurants across the island, explore one of the many beautiful beaches and then return home and still be within walking distance of Praia de Agua d’Alto if we wanted to keep going. If it’s a rainy day, you’re nearby Furnas and could easily enjoy some time in the thermal baths. Highly recommend booking if this great location is available for even a portion of your stay in the Açores!

The house was perfect! Extremely clean, comfortable, spacious, and very thoughtful to every single detail. The 2 terraces with views of the Islet were a highlight. Marius and Carlos were communicative and gave excellent recommendations of restaurants and activities. The house is well-located in walking distance to many places in town, and easy driving distance to all points of interest on Sao Miguel island. Highly recommended!

We loved everything about our stay. The location was great, parking was easy, and the apartment was very clean and well appointed. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We are already planning to return next year and stay here again. Thank you!!
