Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ilfracombe

We booked this for a special birthday for 3 generations of the family The house was beyond our expectations! So well equipped and very clean The views were absolutely amazing Our 3 grandsons loved it and especially the visit to feed the animals and were very excited to collect the eggs Samantha was a fabulous host and we would fully recommend her house and we would love to return again

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

Lovely bungalow, decorated to a high standard with luxury furnishings and fittings. The terrace and garden were immaculate and all in a beautiful setting. A short walk to the bus stop for saunton sands, croyde and ilfracombe. Tracey Jane was responsive and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. Spotlessly clean and bright. Very well equipped modern kitchen. Comfortable lounge and bedrooms and a sunny conservatory for dining in. Our host Helen welcomed us and a gorgeous cream tea awaited us, together with homemade scones, jam and bread. Milk, butter and eggs also provided. Such attention to detail. The garden is pretty and dog safe. Helen even provided dog bowls and towels and a treat! We would highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

A brilliant stay in sues lodge. It’s so close to the beach! It was such an added extra to have a hot tub and the lodge was beautifully clean.

Had a fantastic couple of days! Vicky was very helpful with our plans for the weekend; chatting through options and generously picking us up and dropping us off to really facilitate our weekend. She was incredibly flexible, friendly and generous- even lending us an extra pair of waterproof trousers! Super grateful! We will be back- maybe with the kids in the summer! Thank you for all your help.

Beautiful place for a family weekend. Rachael was very clear with her instructions. The jacuzzi was fantastic! Would definitely recommend for family getaway!

Lucy's retreat was a beautiful place to stay, the perfect couples getaway. She left local reccomendations, great directions, a birthday banner and even some treats for us, such thoughtful touches. Jane and Bill are wonderful hosts. They do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They were really responsive without being intrusive. It was an additional bonus that they allowed us to use their lovely swimming pool, especially as we were lucky enough to pick a very warm and sunny week. The cottage is situated in the beautiful grounds of their house, but still very private with its own lovely garden. We would highly recommend staying here and would like to return as some stage.

The Bunkhouse was exactly what we wanted for a few days away in rural surroundings. Clean and comfortable, we could explore the area and enjoy the peace and quiet. Jill is a very helpful host.

Wonderful cottage ⭐️ What a great find! This is our 2nd visit and we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was super clean and well equipped. The grandchildren loved playing with the toys. It was a good base to explore the surrounding countryside. Nicola is a great host and we will definitely visit again ❤️

A wonderful spot in North Devon! It’s a little sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the tourist spots. Great host and the accommodation had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The paddock was a huge bonus for us and dogs - I would highly recommend it!

We've thorougly enjoyed our stay! Hilary ans Graham are the perfect hosts and know how to make their guests feel Welcome and at home. The flat was spacious and clean, the kitchen exceptionally well equipped (we've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs during the past couple of years and the kitchen at Hilary's really stood out, which made cooking for our family of four easy and fun!). Cereals, fruit,bread, milk,..were there on our arrival and were very much appreciated. The girls loved the little garden and playing outside. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Hilary took the girls to the stables to visit the horse- they were absolutely delighted!! Hilary and Graham are very friendly and sociable without being intrusive. We'd love to stay at their place again!

A lovely comfortable stay at the property which we would definitely recommend (and we loved the spacious kitchen for cooking). Coupled with a gorgeous location and great cafes and restaurants on the doorstep it was the perfect spot.

Just come back from a fabulous 5 day stay. Sarah was fantastic, greeted us on arrival and left milk and wine in the fridge for us to enjoy . The property was beautiful and exactly the same as the pictures. The property was super clean and everything was really well thought out for a comfortable stay . Thank you for having us .

One of the best place we have stayed, the location is perfect only 5/6 min of drive from Bude and due to being at the edge of Cornwall you can easily use this location to visit both Devon and Cornwall, the booking system for the swimming pool very easy to do, anyone with kids will probably love it even more due to the animals present only 1 min walk and the play area. The host are very responsive and helpful. will definitely come back

Really a lovely and beautifully clean caravan, with towels and bedding and all the cleaning supplies etc so no need to bring too much from home. Stunning location you fall in love with straight away. Quiet in winter but you feel safe.

A fantastic cottage with great facilities. The pool was superb, my kids loved it. The booking system for pool slots worked really well.

A lovely stay, the kids (5 & 3) absolutely loved the morning animal feed and games room. Mike and Julie were very friendly and helpful will trips out. We made use of the ample toddler equipment (including a bed guard). Enjoyed exploring the area even though the weather forgot it was summer, loved Clovelly and local beaches.

We really enjoyed staying here during February half term (family of 4 - kids 11 and 7). The weather was fairly terrible but it didn’t matter as we had use of the pool and my husband was happy fishing in the rain! Accommodation well equipped and clean and really warm. The pool is beautiful and the rota system is good meaning you know you have the pool to yourself for half the day, then the other cottage gets it for the other half (other than the cheeky people next door on Thursday morning who ignored the rota and went in anyway when it was our turn…) The cottage is so peaceful with beautiful countryside around and our dog loved the field and woods. We went to RHS Rosemoor and highly recommend The Globe at Beaford for good food and really friendly service. It was exactly what we needed for a relaxing few days away.

What an amazing place! We loved the wood burner and all the possible activities: hot tub, heated swimming pool, tennis, table tennis, crash mat, kayak, trampoline , horses, goats, chickens, and much more! it's the perfect place for a holiday with the family, the whole estate is a destination in itself.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this forest chalet. The location is incredibly serene—nestled among trees with a stunning view of the sea, it truly felt like a peaceful escape from the stress of everyday life. The chalet itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It’s the perfect place to relax, read, or take quiet walks in nature. The host was also very responsive and welcoming, making the whole experience smooth and comfortable from start to finish.
