Holiday rentals with a patio in Iceland

(We stayed here twice) Great spot! It was clean and spacious. It feels like a quiet area but you are able to quickly walk to so much. We stayed here twice - at the beginning and end of our trip. We would stay again.

Such a lovely place! It was spotless, well-decorated and felt like a home away from home. The host added thoughtful touches that made the stay extra special. Would happily come back!

Stefania’s apartment was a very comfortable place to stay for the week. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were ideal and there was plenty of shelving and hanging space for clothes and other items. The kitchen was well stocked and was perfect for cooking breakfast before we headed out for the day. We loved the location because it was not right in the heart of the city but it was within ten minutes by car. It was a peaceful area with grocery stores, a bakery and other shopping within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Linda and Gabriel were very responsive and friendly, and gave a great recommendation for a restaurant nearby... Their big teddy bear of a dog was very sweet! Didn't want me to go into the studio while petting him! However, if you don't like large, friendly dogs, you might want to be sure he's inside the house when you arrive... The location was perfect for what we needed--a place to stay before heading to the airport the next morning... The studio is what I would call funky fun--unique and kinda cool... Bed was comfortable... We had two bugaboos... Couldn't quite figure out the lock on the door (why not just a simple, regular slide bolt that locks and unlocks with a key?)... And, we were wanting to do some laundry after 9 days in Iceland before going on to our next destination, and we couldn't get the dryer to fully dry our clothes... As others noted, the shower is tiny, but functional... All in all, a great place to stay if you need to be near the airport...

It was AMAZING! Unnar and family are wonderful hosts, the apartment was beautiful, and it was in a perfect location. Would absolutely stay here again :)

We have considered three places before deciding on this place and we sure are glad we picked the right choice. Nothing beats the central location of this place, and if you have a rental car the parking garage is an extra plus. The area was very spacious but it still felt cozy. The views from the balcony was spectacular. Most importantly, Andri and his staff were very prompt to our requests and very attentive to our concerns which were mostly minor. Overall, we highly recommend this place to making your Iceland trip even more memorable .

Great location, walking distance to city center, Reykjavik Roasters and 2 supermarkets right around the corner, very clean and matched the description. Thorgeir is super responsive and helpful, clear check-in instructions and very easy self check-in. Parking right in front of the building. Can definitely recommend!

Jon was a great host! Really helpful and easy to communicate with. The apartment was very nice, comfortable and in a great location. We were just 2-3 blocks from great restaurants, bars and shopping.

This rental was so peaceful and serene. The views were beautiful, the sheep were fun to watch, and it was a great place to stay while touring the Snaefellsnes peninsula. Hosts were very accommodating and gave excellent directions. Highly recommend and I would love to come back in the future!

We loved our stay in this charming, comfortable house with a fabulous view and so peaceful! Pora was a wonderful host who gave us many suggestions for activities and attractions in the area. A great little restaurant nearby. The best accommodation during our trip around the Ring Road, I highly recommend staying here.

My family and I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. The location was perfect—close enough to downtown, but still in a quiet, peaceful area. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed to feel comfortable. We also loved the thoughtful touches throughout the house, from cozy blankets to the coffee pots. This place made our trip even more memorable.

A beautiful, peaceful setting, with stunning views. Kathrin and her husband let us know when the northern lights appeared one evening and helped us with the settings on our i-phone so we could take the best pictures. Very appreciative or their help. We highly recommend their quiet cottage.

Beautiful home in surreal surroundings. Wonderful location close to a small town and multiple attractions. Clean spacious house with a very well stocked kitchen. Everything as described in the listing. Finally, amazing host. Sweet and responsive ! Won’t think twice to go back and stay when in Iceland next time.

This house is absolutely stunning. Set in the woods, the house design is absolutely incredible with beautiful views of the trees and nearby waterfront. The home decor is very tasteful, stylish and comfortable, making you want to spend all of your time in the house rather than going out to sightsee. A wonderful place to stay!

We loved our stay at Bjorgvin’s place! It felt like we had a little slice of Iceland all to ourself. The house was cozy and clean. It was the perfect space for our family of 4. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a day exploring. Highly recommend!

Stayed in Iceland for a week and was a great place to stay! Host was very responsive, and helpful when needed. He provided very helpful instructions and recommendations for the stay. The place was clean and as described! The location was close to the city and many destinations while still being in a peaceful quieter part of town. Would stay here again if I was to travel here again!

The Airbnb was easily accessible and well equipped with washing machine, dryer and fully equipped kitchen. There was also a designated parking spot for your vehicle. Magnus was responsive and extremely helpful in answering any queries. Would recommend this place

We had a great stay at Unnur's apartment. It was a perfect base for our adventures around Reykjavik. The location was very close to downtown (10min drive), walking distance to the Sky Lagoon (highly recommended) and having free parking was a lovely amenity. The apartment itself was lovely - bright, clean and well appointed - and the host, Unnur was excellent - very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice quiet location just outside of the city centre.

What an absolutely wonderful Airbnb experience. The apartment was beautiful and super-clean, and the view was stunning! We loved looking out the window at the ocean in the evenings, and we took a lovely walk along the seafront one morning. We took day trips to the Golden Circle and the Snaefellsnes peninsula, and we were an easy drive from Reykjavik. Best of all, Salvor Lilja and her husband were amazing hosts. We enjoyed a sunset soak in the hot tub, and they very kindly provided a selection of beverages and Icelandic treats. They also very thoughtfully left the apartment stocked with amenities like coffee, tea, milk, beer, wine and chocolates. We would highly recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. we had spent 1 week in different places between Reykjavik and Vik and this was by far the best Airbnb. The location is right in the middle of all the bars and restaurants and very walkable. The Airbnb has a private parking right in front of the entrance and was big enough for our 9 passanger van. The home is beautiful and has everything you could ever need on your stay. The host really put a lot of thought into every little detail. If you are looking at this home and it as available I would book it immediately.

Charming Airbnb with free parking right near the harbor (huge bonus for Reykjavík since many places require you pay for parking). Perfect size for a couple and walking distance to all of the harbor area’s restaurants and amenities. Access to the rainbow road and Hallgrimskirkja area was also pretty easy, with it being about a 15-20 minute scenic walk or 10 minute e-bike ride. The Airbnb itself was spotless and a perfect cozy place to crash after a long day. The host kept a good supply of items we might need during the stay—the phone charger really saved us on our first day. There was also a washer/dryer which allowed us to wash a load of clothes before leaving! We loved this Airbnb and would stay here again when we come back!
