We were able to walk to downtown, free parkin at neighborhood. and we are in our 70's

We loved this property and had a great,comfortable stay. It’s located a way from the main road on a beautiful scenic property. If we had to more time we would have taking more advantage of the serene setting.

Peferct place to stop for a night for couples that are travelling on the ring road. Beautiful landscape, peaceful surroundings and spacious room with full kitchen. Plus a playful border collie that is so sweet!

Staying in Dora and Nicolas' cozy flat was everything we could have wished. They were friendly, welcoming, helpful and generous. The flat was clean, well-supplied and super comfortable. It was a perfect location for walking to the University for our conference (7 minutes) and into the City Centre (+/- 20 mins) for events, museums and dining. (Just up the street are KaffiVest, a wonderful little cafe/restaurant, a small supermarket, and the local outdoor, heated swimming pool - an Iceland tradition!) We wholeheartedly recommend, and would gladly stay there again!

We stayed at Haukur's cabin for a week and enjoyed it very much. He was always easily accessible and helped us with everything. The property is beautiful and great for unwinding. It's very quiet and peaceful. It looked fantastic in any weather. The cabin is well equipped. You are about 20 minutes away by car from Selfoss and there is everything you need. It was very nice to meet you, hopefully until next time!

Easily the best host I have ever had on Airbnb. Everything was perfect, the place was easy to find and we were given clear instructions on everything that we needed. The host is super friendly, responsive, and helped with every inquiry or question that I had. The bnb was really cute, well organized and clean, and located in a lovely quiet neighborhood within short walking distance to the city center. We had everything that we could ever have needed, and more than we could have hoped for. I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Iceland, I will definitely be coming back on my next trip back here for sure. The apartment is perfect for a short period of time. It’s not far from Akureyri by car, just about a 15 minute drive away. Good place to watch northern lights from the balcony overlooking the fjord. Room was spacious and kitchen was supplied with the basics.

Communication before and during the stay was very good. Thanks to the detailed description, we found the place directly and the check-in went smoothly. The location is great. You can quickly reach Reykjavik and the Golden Circle, so you can easily visit all the sights here. Especially the Icelandic horses are a highlight. The description generally corresponds well to the accommodation, even if the furnishings are sometimes a little older, which does not detract from the whole thing.

Birgir was very responsive and welcoming! We both had the best sleep here out of 5 places in Iceland, it was comfy and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Jóhanna is such a wonderful host! This tiny house truly feels like a home. All the amenities you could need are provided, and Jóhanna is very proactive and communicative. A perfect place to see the stars and aurora borealis, and only a ten minute drive to the city.

Pretty spartan place, but nice and clean and excellent communication. Decent small kitchen. Grocery store right nearby and easy access to every thing Reykjavik has to offer.

Nice place to stay while we were waiting out a wind storm. Well equipped kitchen.

Great base for three people (two adults, one child) for four nights exploring a little of the South coast. Kitchen had plenty of amenities (Tupperware, cooking equipment etc) for us to take pack lunches on hikes, and made it easy to dine in. We stopped at Costco on the way from the airport, and also topped up at a good grocery store 20 minutes away. So close to the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall that we waited until sunset around 10pm to visit for spectacular views without the crowds. Also gave us plenty of time to hike the Fimmvörðuháls Trail which was only 25 mins away. Accommodation was warm, shower & washing machine/ dryer worked great, and there were panoramic languid sunsets to feast on.

Really nice lodge style house with a killer view ! Well appointed kitchen and dining area. On a farm so you get to watch sheep with morning coffee ! Farm dog named "Peanut" will greet you and make you feel right at home !!! Good location to explore westfjords.

Charming apartment with everything you need for a peaceful holiday, or to wander around because it's close to everything there is to see! 10 minutes from Reykjavík center and 30 minutes from the main airport, as well as the Golden Circle or the Blue Lagoon, I highly recommend this listing!

not easy to find reasonable accommodations in Iceland, but this place was good on all counts.

Beautiful location and place and wonderful hosts! Our kids loved saying hi to the horses after coming home from our adventures.

We ended up at Inga's after having to reconfigure our travel plans due to bad road conditions in North Iceland and were very happy with our decision to stay there. Everything matches the descriptions and pictures and Inga gave us very easy to follow directions in regard to finding the house and checking in.

A unique and peaceful experience with mountain views and Icelandic horses and sheep in back field. Convenient location for seeing the sights on the way to Vik.

Was a great place to stay for a quick trip and great communication! Will definitely come back if I'm in that area again!
