Holiday rentals with breakfast in Iceland

This is one of the best Bed and Breakfast experiences you can have in Iceland! The host family lives there, giving you a homey feeling, a wonderful homemade breakfast and good conversation with ideas about what to do in the area if you ask.

Cute and clean room, close by Keflavik airport- just what I needed for an early morning flight. Jay was helpful in letting me get in a little before check-in (which is at 16 /4pm!) and in helping me book a cap so it was ready for me in the early morning. Very clean place, comfy bed, would book again!

I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! Birgir was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The space was spotless, cozy, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was our Iceland story time with Birgir—his captivating stories gave us a deeper appreciation for the country and its culture. His passion for the environment was truly inspiring, motivating me to become more proactive about global warming and environmental responsibility. Birgir also recommended trying an Icelandic swimming pool, and we absolutely loved it! This was a truly memorable stay, and I can’t recommend it enough!

The room at Gudrun's place was perfect. It is sufficiently large and has access to a balcony. Kitchen and bathroom are shared, but this is not a problem. We loved the breakfast. Gudrun is very friendly and told us a lot about the area and Iceland. We would book it again.

Thanks to Vilhem we had a wonderful experience near Hvammstangi ! The house is clean and with confortable beds. The waterfall nearby is very nice and the surroundings so peaceful. There's a gas station very close to get food, and things to visit on Hvammstangi, with even a natural hot pot on the way ;)

Gutti and Svana were amazing! We had some difficulty finding the house, but Gutti drove around town to find us. Once we arrived, they were extremely kind, warm, and welcoming. We had the entire house to ourselves. They stayed in their unattached sunroom and made themselves available to us for whatever we needed. They showed us how to use the hot tub, which we thoroughly enjoyed. To make us comfortable, Gutti found a good radio station for us and brought over a couple of cold Viking beers. This was the most relaxed we were on our 11-day trip. Gutti and Svana felt like family at the end of our stay. They were incredible and generous hosts, and we would highly recommend staying with them.

Everything was perfect. I was there with my boyfriend, super clean, and the owner is very sweet and help us to go around Iceland. Merci

It took some effort to find this place, but it was definitely worth it. The house is clean, the host is friendly, and although it's across the river from Akureyri, it's not too far—after all, most people staying here are probably driving anyway. Overall, I'd give it a 4.2 out of 5.

The apartment was recently renovated, very comfortable and looked clean. It’s very close from the center and would definitely be back.

Virgie was very friendly at all times. We were very well taken care of, the room was clean, it had a piece of furniture to leave the luggage, which is convenient and the bed was very comfortable. Although the accommodation is a bit far from the city, for us it was not a problem since we had a rented vehicle. Breakfast was quite hearty and varied, the fruit is appreciated. We had a good experience in the accommodation.

Anna is an amazing lady who will entertain you with his local stories. Also, she provided excellent suggestions of places to visit. I got upgraded for free to the flat and it was such a great place. I wish I could live there. You can not go wrong by booking this place.

Great place to stay. A fully furnished 2 bedroom penthouse with all the amenities and utilities available right within the town. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel—we stayed for two nights. Check-in instructions were very clear, and the staff was super responsive with communication. When the restaurant was closed, they allowed us to bring our own food in, which was really convenient. The location is stunning, surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. Highly recommended!

The farm house is lovely and quiet. Only 20 minute drive to Vic restaurants and shops. Relax spaces are nice, communal breakfast area brought guests together. Our beds were so comfortable.

Had a nice stay in the guesthouse. Everything is brand new, really comfortable shower and bed. Breakfast is ready the night before so you can take it the next day whenever you want.
