Beautiful scenery and great area to explore. My daughters loved meeting the horses. Went into Hvammstangi and ate at great restaurant above Seal Center. Would definitely stay again.

Expected a whirpool. There was none. Very cute dog (Molly)

Our stay in Grenivik was wonderful. The space was beautiful, clean, and easy to find. The house overlooks a gorgeous, quiet lake with a wide view of the surrounding mountains. The laundry was a nice touch as well! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend this AirBnb to anyone considering passing through Grenivik!

My daughters and I had a magical stay at Sunna's house between Christmas and New Year. The house is beautifully positioned by the water with spectacular views and a short bus ride into town. It was warm, cosy and had all we could ask for. Thanks Sunna!

Accommodation according to the photos, that said we were looking for calm and solitude, and we were surprised when we arrived to see another cabin a few meters away with our 2 living rooms facing us forcing us to close the adjoining curtain for privacy. It's still very quiet, and cute, perfect for resting and observing aurora if the weather permits. The little visit of our hosts' dog was also pleasant, no language barrier for this little doggie.

We stayed with our two adult children for hunting some northern lights. The accommodation was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. A true recommendation if you look for a private, clean, quiet and modern stay with stunning views. Ragnar was always available and a helpful host.

Berglind was a great host and was always available to answer any questions. Her place is small, but well equipped with everything we needed for a one-week stay. Great location, only 10-15 minutes from the city. Nice bakery (tucked next to the grocery store) is a short walk away and a good spot for breakfast.

We stayed for 3 nights and the place is great, extremely clean which is always our main concern. Philip is very helpful and just a message away. The house is really nice and cosy plus as a nice little library

The waterfront location is gorgeous ! Our hostess- Syrri was incredibly informative and very helpful! I purposely booked this location for the waterside, gym, hot tub, sauna and pool. All of those amenities were included in our Airbnb rental fee!!!! This was day four of the “Iceland ring tour” and we all needed a little space and some downtime! The Airbnb rental is also across the street from the grocery store and the liquor store! BROVO! We had difficulties with our Van Rental breaking down. We had a 12 midnight check-in and Syrri allowed us to stay until 2 PM, which was so gracious🙏. We would recommend this locations to people who travel with extended families and friends! Pretty nice stay for 5 people. We had a great time with the TV and the nice sofa bed.

We enjoyed our stay at the lovely house. Our highlight was for sure the lovely living area with its huge windows to watch the ocean and the arriving planes as well as fabulous whirlpool :)

We had a wonderful stay at Reynir og Ingibjörg’s place! The accommodation was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere while still being conveniently accessible. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Awesome location and great home. We had an amazing time!

The house is comfortable, warm, clean, well equipped and in a stunning location. The hot tub is easy to use and very nice to relax in. We stayed 3 nights and could have happily stayed much longer. Despite the weather (cold with low cloud and rain) we loved the views over the water and the snowy mountains. We drove up to Siglufjordur which is beautiful, walked on the causeway in front of the house and on Dalvik beach which is gorgeous, and did the classic whale watching from Dalvik and saw humpbacks, minke whales and porpoises. Also visited Tjornes peninsula and Husavic. Unfortunately the puffins left early this year so we didn't see any, but the coast is dramatic and we did some good walks. All fantastic. Thanks Ragnar.

It was a really nice apartment, with an amazing view.

Sublime location almost on the water at the edge of a narrow fjord. Three beautiful bedrooms, and all the necessary equipment for a road trip stop in Iceland.

Zuleyma and her partner are amazing hosts. We took a wrong turn and ended up in a ditch and they came out with their tractor to pull us out 😅. The cabin is much nicer than how it’s pictured in the photos. The cabin feels homey- think authentic countryside cabin. The kitchen has everything you need to cook/bake meals. We were here in the summer so it was beautiful seeing the sunset because you’re right next to the water. The sheep, horses and dog on the farm are a delight. Highly recommend!

beautiful place, gorgeous views, very responsive host. we had a great time and enjoyed our stay! the area was very quiet but very close to everything we needed.

We stayed wishing to catch the Northern Lights and we were lucky enough to do so each night and be there for a huge solar storm. We ventured out the first night and after that realized we were able to stay comfy at our airbnb and see them both in the front yard and backyard. The house was spacious and our children 7 & 1 loved the books and toys available. We were offered a portable crib and high chair which were convenient. There were plenty of novels for adults and a variety of books on Iceland. There is a washer and large drying rack, dishwasher, and full kitchen which was wonderful since it is a serene spot you can relax and not run down the road 15 minutes for food or coffee. I enjoyed walking the road to the church and admiring the horses next door. The location is remote and going to parks or the city required an hour drive. Our host was gracious and extended our check out which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

I loved living in this house. I spent two weeks on a work trip there and it was perfect for that occasion. The ocean is litterally two minutes away, the garden outside the windows is lush and available, and the location is just great. Very charming house with a warm atmosphere. Helgi and his dog were amazing hosts, very helpful and generous, which made the experience just amazing.

This cottage has a wonderful view of the lake. It was very comfortable for four adults and a toddler. We were at peace listening to nature and watching the lake. The host was very communicative and helpful. The location is very close to the Golden Circle's must-see locations. The closest town was an 8-minute drive and had great local restaurants. I highly recommend this stay.

Kjartan was very accomodating to us and we enjoyed our stay in this appartment. The kitchen and other rooms had all the facilities we could have needed - this extended to more niche things such as a can opener which you don't always find in a flat! We were greeted nicely and the stay was uncomplicated. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet, as well as having everything in walkable distance. It is also close to a bus stop. The flat is surprisingly warm on the inside.
