Holiday rentals with a patio in Hyco Lake

I have been fortunate enough to stay at multiple properties managed by Katie. They have always been clean and comfy. I’ll be staying at her places as long as they are available when I am in town. Highly recommended.

We were in town for a long weekend of wandering so this was home base for our stay. It had all the modern amenities and the charm of the early 1900s, including original hardwood floors and soaring ceilings. As the photos show, there's plenty of space to relax, both inside and out. Definitely a unique property. Our, who was very responsive before, during and after our stay, included small touches that make a visit just a little more convenient, especially if you arrive late like we did. Flexible bedside chargers, plenty of coffee pods for the next morning, and a few beverages in the fridge - not necessary, but much appreciated. A very enjoyable visit.

This is our second stay at Katie’s and it did not disappoint. Clean and comfy and a great work space separate from other areas. It was in a perfect location, just down a block to my daughter’s apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was super cozy and very close to the high school, which made graduation weekend a breeze. We hope to come back in the future. Thank you Stephanie & Mary Jo for a wonderful and peaceful stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Kristen’s place. She had given us all the information we needed before our arrival. Everything was clean and we felt at home upon our arrival. We had room to spread out (there were only 3 of us) without feeling like we were on top of each other. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house due to our obligations in the area but what time was spent there we felt safe and didn’t worry about anyone around us as we never heard or saw any neighbors. The house is close enough to town that we didn’t have to travel far to find restaurants or grocery stores.

This house is excellent! It’s very spacious and peaceful. We had a great time staying with Sheryl. She was very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking to visit the new Caesar Casino in Danville. It’s only a 6-minute drive away.

Great stay. Clean, efficient and was exactly as described! It was walkable to the casino but also a 2 min drive if preferred. Perfect for a night or two away.

Martha made us feel at home not just in the house but in Danville at large. Her house is adorable! The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly yet accessible to all Danville's attractions. We even patronized Martha's lovely garden shop with our daughter, who was planting her first veggie patch. We've been to many airbnbs and this one is definitely in our top 3. We will come again.

This was the cleanest and most comfortable place we have ever booked through Air BnB. My only regret is we were only in town for one night. The building is easy to find, rental unit was spotless and very well equipped. So much attention to detail! Ballad Brewing is next door and we enjoyed our evening there as well!

The condo smelled fantastic right when we walked in…like an actually true clean smell and not a covered febreeze smell. Everything was very nice, clean clean, and perfect for our family. The beds were all super comfortable, the shower heads were amazing. Instructions were clear and the hosts were so helpful and responsive.

We loved everything about our stay at the flat. We were able to walk to a few local restaurants, a coffee shop, the riverfront and there is a great, family friendly brewery right around the corner. The flat was very clean, beds were comfortable and we appreciated the added extra touch of having toiletries, coffee and snacks.

This space was so comfortable, spacious and modern. The art deco feel really stood out. Easy access and instructions. Comfy setting.
