The place was as-described and a great way to cool off after a long day at VIR.

This house is an amazing undertaking. When you read the history of this home, it is obvious, it requires a special person, a lover of history and restoration, to take on a project like this. While staying at the property, Taylore was in constant contact with my family as we prepared for our daughter's wedding in Danville, VA. We were amazed at the original features, she (Taylore) has been able to preserve in a mansion of this size. We appreciated the newer accessories in the kitchen, etc... and really enjoyed the large dining areas to congregate and talk! We look forward to renting again!

After working 7 months straight I decided to take a weekend off and enjoy an Airbnb with my family. I only required a pool and grill. This place had everything. It was my families first stay in an Airbnb. We truly enjoyed every moment of it. Even my mom said she would return. My dad passed away a year ago and he love the casino in Danville. We were less than 15 mins away and decided to honor him by stopping by to play for an hour. It was really a wonderful relaxing weekend.

We had an awesome time at Marks Place. This is our first time to visit Hyco lake and can’t wait to return. This house is absolutely stunning and so comfortable. Most of our family never left the house for the entire week. The lake and pool was beautiful. We could not believe how peaceful the location is and the surrounding areas. We were the only people in our cove for the entire week. We can’t wait to rent this place again, thanks for sharing your home with us

I have one complaint and it’s a pretty big one, we had to leave! This place was truly an absolute DREAM! We had the best time soaking up some sun in our own private space with so many fun activities to do in the backyard! The house was clean and functional and exactly as pictured. The outside was even more beautiful than the pictures and more fun than we imagined!! Our two year old had the time of her life in the hot tub/cowboy pool and it was so lovely we didn’t even end up needing or using the heater! The grounds themselves were lovely, stunning views any way you looked! Places to relax, places to play… one of the best stays. We look forward to returning and enjoying more time as not much else will ever compare! Also Keith was communicative and a kind host!

Beautiful home, wonderful host. Spent most days in the pool enjoying the gorgeous lake view, other days we spent on the lake with other locals enjoying rafts and kayaks nearby. Everyone was so friendly, theres also a Dollar General close for quick grabs and a walmart within delivery distance. Definitely looking forward to a trip back here!

Wonderful experience! The willow oaks house was exactly as described and exactly what we needed for our stay! our 2 year old son felt right at home which made it a much better experience with being away from home. everything was clean and easy to find and understand instructions for the stay. It was great having family games and books for my little one. The host Vickie was very welcoming and responsive to messages, we will definitely be booking with them again when we travel back to the area! thanks for a great stay in your beautiful home! :)

Had a wonderful time with family in this beautiful location. Had everything we needed to just sit back and be with each other. We rented a boat one day and explored the lake. We are from the coastal area with beaches but the lake was so refreshing. Hope to go back in the near future and will definitely contact Alex to stay at the house again. No complaints at all!! For visitors to VIR, this home is the perfect place to stay. Our team just raced with AER and we could not have been more happy with the accommodations. Will definitely stay again when back up at the track!

Great location, beautiful view from front porch. Owners were very friendly and easy to access. After spending the day at the VIR track, it was a great place to come "home" to relax. Fun times for both kids and parents! Have been going to VIR for the past 4 years. By far the best place we have stayed. Look forward to next year!

Excellent place to stay while visiting VIR!! Easy 25 minute drive in. First and foremost, the house is actually WAY bigger than it looks! It's a beautiful classic house with tons of space for a group. My staff couldn't have been more comfortable while staying. The host was excellent with lost of communication prior, during and upon checking out. Definitely check it out, you won't be disappointed. We will be back for sure!

Juli’s place was in a super cute neighborhood and not far from downtown. The place was clean and I loved all the art and throughout the house. We even got a visit from peppers, the neighborhood cat. Would definitely stay again!

Spacious and clean home. Enjoyed the ample space to sit in family room and relax together. Beds were comfortable and location very convenient.

Wow! This place was just as it was described! We thoroughly enjoyed everything! It was close to the casino restaurants and my favorite TJ Maxx!!!! Thanks again for the kindness that was shown annnnd the icing on the cake were the treats left by Noah!!! It made the overnight stay amazing!!

Audra's home felt like a home away from home! Everything from the booking to checking out was seamless. The home was cozy, welcoming, spacious and had everything you could possibly need! Audra is very responsive, friendly and helpful with recommendations. We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to visiting again!
