Place was fire deck, dock, views all on point. Super chill vibes. Host was solid—friendly, responsive, made everything smooth. Would def stay again

If you’re considering staying here, don’t wait! It truly is paradise! In addition to being easy to find and spacious, the house has plenty of books, magazines, and fun things to do like the fire pit! Also, these hosts have thought of everything. We stay in a lot of Airbnb‘s, and I don’t think I’ve ever been in one that has been so well stocked. Having lifejackets and water toys was such a plus that we didn’t have to pack those things. They also have extra beach towels and blankets, not to mention super nice nonstick cookware with all the kitchen utensils you would need! We are already talking about our next trip to the stacks! 5 stars!!!

Very peaceful and family friendly home! It was super clean and the water area is beautiful. The host was so helpful especially with a book with address to different places to eat or go.

Amy was a fabulous host. I'll admit I was a little hesitant about booking because she & the house were new to the site. I'm so thankful I took a chance. We had a little hiccup with checking in (door code wasn't working) but Amy immediately responded and resolved, even with it being after 11 pm. The house was perfect for me and my two adult kids. We each had our own space to relax. The bottom covered patio was the perfect place for watching thunderstorms over the lake. We took the kayaks out one day and lounged on the dock & swam another. The kitchen was well stocked & organized. She even had pictures of what went where so you didn't have to guess when putting things back. Not once during our stay did I think, man I wish she had (blank). The beds were comfortable with fresh linens and plenty of pillows. Baths were updated and we never ran out of hot water, even with the three of us showering at the same time. I would highly recommend staying here.

My family enjoyed our stay . The home is beautiful and spacious . Very clean ( spotless ) and comfortable beds and furniture . The host left nothing out. The property is very private getaway with plenty of outdoor activities , fishing , hiking and barbecue grill . My only regret is we didn’t have more time . One of the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in . Highly recommended.

This place is a gem! Only 30 minutes from home but provided great location for a weekend of R&R. The house is very clean and the layout was wonderful. There were clear instructions that laid out every detail you could need! Aimee was immediately responsive when we thought we would have an unplanned additional overnight guest and I wanted to inform her as much ahead of time as possible. The house is spotless there are kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy, the entire place feels like home and I couldn’t have had a more enjoyable stay. I will 1000% be back.

We loved staying at Mark’s place. It was clean and a great location on the lake. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. It was perfect for our family and we would definitely stay there again.

We've stayed at Kristen's home three times. It is a peaceful and lovely location, and the house is very clean and welcoming. We find Roxboro a fun little town, and it is close to Virginia. I highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful time during our stay! My family of four felt right at home. Everything was super clean and comfy, and Dwitt and Jackie were simply amazing—so friendly and caring! We loved them! They really went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot! The house was equipped with all the essentials we needed, which made everything even easier. We also had a blast fishing off the dock, catching a variety of fish including catfish, freshwater drum, and bream. My kids had the best time swimming with their donut floaties, and we tied them to the dock so they could splash around without drifting away. There is also a camping ground nearby where you can go to swim, play, and cook out. ( Buffalo Springs Park) $7 per car for the day. They really enjoyed every moment! I will be coming back!!!❤️

We had a great time at Adrian’s place. Our group really enjoyed the game room downstairs, and hot tub and fire pit outside. Making s’mores under the string lights was a highlight! The house is well appointed and the 8 of us felt like there was plenty of space to hang out and relax. We really appreciated Adrian’s responsiveness and helpful instructions.

Awesome home with Great Lake views! Strongly recommend renting a boat to enjoy the lake! House is in good shape and will sleep several people. Jeremy was great to work with. He is timely with responses and very helpful with information. I will definitely stay here again!!

Loved the views of the lake, although I wasn’t there majority of the time, when I arrived back in the evening, the views were stunning! The outside deck/walkway is very tranquil!

Dale and Tara are so friendly and welcoming. They keep the place in fantastic shape, and they truly make sure you’re taken care of during your stay. I would recommend this stay to anyone because we had such a wonderful time!

We had an amazing weekend here! I recently moved to Elon for work and have been staying with a friend while my husband and daughter prep our house to sell back in Western NC. We rented this airbnb so they could come spend the weekend with me -- it was definitely out in the country, but it was GORGEOUS. There's a winery literally next door, a pond in the backyard, and the most comfy bed ever. My 3 year old loved the outside -- she kept begging us to just take walks around the property. It was peaceful and absolutely worth it.

Perfect place to getaway from the city, we had a great and peaceful weekend. Definitely coming back. :)

This rustic trailer was really off the beaten path. There were some scary, dark gravel roads that were difficult to find (especially at 4 o'clock in the morning) considering there was no internet/wifi connections available. Truly off the grid. I may have looked into obtaining a hot-spot had i known in advance. As for the accommodations, our hostess put in effort to provide clean towels and toiletries but i found out the hard way that the water needs to run for awhile to get the brown water out of the line. Oh, walking into the trailer and being greeted by a mounted deer on the wall may have startled the uninitiated. Waking up in the morning to this local lake was beautiful and refreshing. Im a city boy but definitely appreciated the scenery. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your place. It was definitely an experience!

Great spot on the lake for a family vacation. Dock is great for launching kayaks, boat, or just hanging out. House had plenty of room to spread out.

Wow. What an amazing spot for a long weekend. The pictures do not do this place justice. The boathouse with amenities was perfect. We had so much fun fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and spending quality family time. The house itself was spotless and had everything you could need. The host was so easy to work with, very responsive, and friendly! Our family cannot wait to return.

This is our second stay at this property for our family of six and we will be back again. The location is lovely with terrific lake views from both inside and from the spacious decks. The home is very well maintained along with the generous dock. Jeremy is extremely responsive to any questions and needs leading up to and during our stay. This is a 10+ property!

The house is nice and enough room for our family. Most of the kitchenware were new and the kitchen was clean. The platic plates, cups and plasticware for kids were a nice touch. We got there late at night and there were no lights leading up to the house and had a slight issue finding the turn to the house. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay, the house was decorated nicely and the rooms were clean. The best part of the stay is Mary Jo, she is very responsive and friendly! We plan to book with her next year already :)
