This house was perfect for a family holiday especially with young children. The hosts kindly have lots of toys and games available in the house and a good play area in the kitchen diner, plus a selection in a very private and safe garden. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment, which is often lacking in airbnbs, so you can cook properly. location was also great, short walk to a big park with play ground and cafe(nice breakfast there too) and a bit further too hive lagoons with things to do for kids of all ages. Mark the co host was very responsive and attentive through out. 5 stars! Laurence

Jo was an exceptional host from start to finish and couldn't have accomodated us more! The place is gorgeous and we felt instantly at home. Everywhere was super clean, the beds were so comfy and the overall vibe of the place was spot on. Sad to have only stayed one night but will 100% be making a return next time we are in the area. Thanks again, so much. Highly recommend!

Emily and Daniel were brilliant hosts and very easy to communicate with. Their home is beautiful and it was spotlessly clean too. Their pool area is stunning so if you get the weather it’s a really lovely space to enjoy. I would recommend this to anyone looking to spend time in this area, just be aware that the pool area is shared with their home. We were staying as did the Seven Sisters hike one day (40mins drive away). Thank you again for a lovely stay.

We had a fabulous few days staying at Talita's stunning home. The house is more spacious than the photos suggest and the garden was lovely to relax in. The location worked well for us as a family, as we could relax in the house and walk to restaurants overlooking the sea. For more exciting activities located in Brighton, the buses were a short walk away and frequent and convenient. One tip I would suggest is booking a private parking space so you don't have to worry about paying and moving the car. Transport is easy to use and takes the stress out of travelling. Hopefully we will be able to return one day!

Lovely stay in the flat - place was clean and tidy and felt right at home. Buses are within a 5 min walk so getting into Brighton town centre/beach by public transport was easy. 10/10 would stay here again

From the moment we were enthusiastically welcomed at the door by Calypso, we knew we were going to have a happy week in Portslade. Both cats were very friendly and affectionate with all of us, making it a home from home for a family of four with two small boys. The home offers plenty of room for a getaway and has all the amenities you'd normally need if you were at home. Our elder son appreciated having a climbing frame in his room too! The pub next door was missing some of its fencing while we were staying, which removed a bit of privacy from the back garden, but thankfully when we were indoors we didn't notice any of the noise or smoke from the beer garden unless we had the back windows open. Our boys loved having open access to football pitches behind the pub. Parking was usually ok nearby but we struggled for a space one evening when there was a big event at the nearby Hindu temple. Bus and train connections into places like Brighton, Hove and Worthing were excellent.

Very welcoming even to my two dogs with water bowls provided :)

Alles ist gepflegt und durchdacht, man merkt sofort, dass hier Herz drinsteckt. Die Gastgeber:innen sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Lage ist ideal: In wenigen Minuten ist man am Meer, die Innenstadt ist bequem mit dem Auto oder Bus erreichbar. Perfekt für entspannte Tage mit Stil und Komfort. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen! 🌟

ik heb zeer genoten van mijn verblijf bij Simon, het appartement is gezellig ingericht, je hebt er alles wat je nodig hebt voor een langer verblijf, het is er rustig en op een perfecte locatie ten opzichte van de stad en de zee.

Es war alles rundherum - perfekt. Das Gästehaus hübsch eingerichtet, sehr sauber - Anthony und Cathy sind hervorragende, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Und....Hove ist wunderschön Sehr empfehlenswert - herzlichen Dank an Euch 2.

Great location, close to the beach, nice shops and restaurants nearby, but quiet and peaceful. Lovely birdsong in the secluded garden. Thanks, will recommend it for guests of our friends who live round the corner.

Paul's place was excellent. It's really big with gorgeous decor and there was so much space for all five of us. It was in an amazing location right by the sea. 5-10 minute walk to the water. We went there frequently. Lovely park just outside the house where we sat having coffee every morning. Nice restaurants nearby but still a quiet and chill area. Paul was excellent to deal with. Very responsive and flexible. We would definitely come back!

Jane and Mark were so communicative, friendly and helpful! The place was spotless, and perfect for a weekend trip to see Brighton/Hove. Would recommend to anyone !

Stylish apartment in a beautiful, peaceful square in a lovely part of Brighton. I stayed here a few years ago and the recent makeover has enhanced what was already a nice flat, with beautiful fixtures and fittings making a lovely cohesive whole. I particularly loved the new floor in the main room which is beautiful and reflects light into the room. For a basement there is plenty of natural light which filters in through the trees in the square. Everything was beautifully clean and Gary’s instructions were clear and thoughtful and made check in and using the flat really easy. The bed is comfy and baths in the stylish new bathroom were a real treat!

We had a wonderful few nights here. My children (5&9) thought it was incredibly fancy! We loved the decor, and loved Stanley's book about the history! A perfect base, in fact the kids just wanted to keep going back to the house because they loved it so much. It felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay again, and have recommended to family already.

We had a great stay here! Such a good location for exploring Brighton. The flat is lovely and bright, spacious, with everything we needed. The bed is really comfortable and we loved sitting in the living room looking out of the floor to ceiling windows. Thank you!

The perfect kind of place I wish I had for myself. Perfectly placed near to the beach amd amenities. The host was so lovely and made sure our stay was just perfect. Clean, tidy and just a really nice place overall.

Alan was a great host, friendly, flexible and quick to respond. The flat was clean, tidy and had lovely furnishings. A perfect little residence for a Brighton stay, well located, only a short walk into the main part of Brighton and the sea.

An amazing stay all round! The apartment was really easy to find and so close to the sea front and city centre. Kasia was very responsive and answered any questions I had. We were also able to store our luggage after checkout which was extremely helpful. Super lovely and would absolutely stay here again.

Very happy with our stay , a lovely clean flat ,great location ,couldn't ask for more , responsive owners which always makes life easier.

Even though there was scaffolding surrounding the entire building for external painting work (out of the hosts control ) the flat was exactly as described and great value for money. It was spotlessly clean, great local recommendations brochure and we had a good nights sleep. The only slight downside was the communal area, which smelt of damp and looked very tired.. again out of the hosts control. The local area was great, very Brighton, a cool and vibrant neighbourhood . I felt very safe leaving my car parked up the top of the road (£7 for 4hrs which I timed to roll overnight ) and moved it to neighbouring streets over our 48 stay. The beach was literally at the end of the street and the Brighton Lanes were only a 17 min walk away along the seafront. My partner and I would recommend Charlottes place to everyone and we will definitely book again
