Exactly as advertised, absolutely fantastic view, best appointed kitchen I can remember. welcoming host. situated up a private lane on a small and very quiet working farm so this was not a problem. On arrival I had a "mobile phone data moment", but one phone call to Daisy and she had fixed "my problem". Both Daisy and her husband were very helpful both personally and in their provision of a very detailed and useful Let Booklet containing all the expected legal stuff about about insurance etc. There was also as well as the legal stuff a whole list of useful stuff, on what to see do, what to visit, restaurants, shops doctors etc. We have been to Orkney many times, and this is a real find. Superb to get away from almost everything!

Starting with a lovely warm welcome from Simon, in which he gave us helpful instructions on how things work and local attractions and places to eat, we had a fantastic stay at Turriedale. The cottage was charming and clean, with everything we needed and plenty to read. The location is absolutely stunning, peaceful and well located for Kirkwall and local walks and shops- Thankyou Simon for a great experience

We had a great stay at Anushka’s place. We were just there for one night, but loved how bright and clean it was when we walked in. The treats and breakfast cereals provided for guests were very much appreciated. The location is an easy walk to downtown and the water and Anushka was great to respond quickly to any questions. We recommend this AirBnB.

Lovely place, clean and recently modernised. Easy parking and friendly hosts a short drive from Kirkwall.
