Waterfront holiday rentals in Highlands

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom beach property. The second-floor apartment was bright, airy, and very comfortable, with a spacious balcony that offered stunning views of the ocean—perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The host was incredibly thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. One of the standout features was the private parking, which gave us peace of mind and added convenience, especially being so close to the beach. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back soon!

Karen’s home was lovely! A great location a short walk from the beach and boardwalk, and easy to walk into downtown Ocean Grove from. Karen was an exceptional host, very welcoming, gave great recommendations, and was even flexible with a later check out than initially agreed upon. 10/10 would recommend staying here!

Great location! Love the water pressure in the shower. This was perfect for my families vacation and appreciate the use of the washer and dryer to go home with clean clothes! Would recommend and stay again

Great spot! Walkable to the beach/boardwalk, restaurants and all that the Asbury area has to offer. Daniel is a great host as the house can be a bit tricky to find he was there to meet us help us in with our stuff and give us a quick tour. The house worked perfect for our group especially the porch which was a beautiful spot for morning coffee and to wind down the day.

I hesitate to say how great this place is because I want it for every time I am in NJ. With that said, this place is incredible and the hosts are the best. The description of the place may be selling it short. Most evenings involved sitting on the beach across the street watching a gorgeous sunset followed up by a quick walk or bike ride to several top notch local places for food, drinks, and fun (Al Ponte for Thursday and Friday night lobsters).

Hasan’s place was very nice. The home had everything we needed, he was very accommodating. From the walk in you are greeted with welcome snacks, a beautiful view of the water, and a welcoming clean /stocked home. The location was very convenient for traveling into the city or MetLife. I definitely recommend the stay at Hasan’s place. I look forward to staying again!

A great stay! So close to the beach with an incredibly peaceful view of the lake. I’ve stayed at multiple Airbnb homes in the area and this one ranked at the top. Kitchen is chef ready, living area is so relaxed and very comfortable. All the amenities were spot on. My biggest worry when I book any stay is whether or not I’ll sleep well and I can sincerely say the beds in this place are great! Gary is a great host and an Asbury enthusiast. Will be back for sure!

This Airbnb is absolutely beautiful! It is just as the images look, is in a great location, and has everything you could need! Great local snacks and recommendations, I would definitely stay here again!

Can’t say enough great things about John’s property! Our family (2 adults and 2 teens) loved our long weekend away. The location is amazing, right across the street from the beach entrance and walkable to a couple eateries, supermarket and subway. It was spotless, spacious and just as shown in the pictures. Stocked with the basics, nice kitchen with everything we needed. We had a couple small questions and couldn’t get over how responsive and nice John and Ashley are. Also super easy check out, which was extra nice. We are already looking forward to booking a trip to come back!

Alicia was very helpful and you couldn’t beat this location. Right near the ocean and the home was as advertised. The kitchen and bathrooms were also beautiful. Highly recommend staying here!

we loved the house, the view. Taking the A Train into Manhatten was easy. I highly reccomend Michaels house for everyone who would like to visit NYC and other Burrows. Thank you Michael for having us stay in your house. Hopefully untill next time.

Alexa's place couldn't have been better! It's so pretty and comfortable inside and the deck is beautiful with lots of plants and sunlight. It has everything you could possibly need in terms of amenities: every kitchen item in the world, tons of cozy linens/towels, a great book collection, and fun board games! Alexa gave us total privacy, but was also available for anything we needed. It's a really well done place run by really nice people.

We rented over Christmas to be near our family for the holiday. Upon check in there was the issue of a frozen pipe, but the hosts were very accommodating and set us up in the main house. Extremely clean, warm, and welcoming it made for the perfect holiday away from our home. My husband was able to whip up desserts in the kitchen for us to bring to family, the backyard was spacious and for our dogs to run and play, and my young daughter felt right at home as did the rest of us. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would be back again in a heartbeat and highly recommended!

Our stay was absolutely flawless. Donovan was a great host, very responsive. The house is simply fabulous. Bay setting gorgeous and complete with hot tub, pool and fire pit all of which we used. The bedrooms were very large and fully equipped with everything needed. There is nothing I would change about our stay. Donovan has a book in the house that tells you all about the house and the events/ restaurants etc. It’s an ideal party house with an outdoor kitchen and indoor second kitchen complete with ice maker, wine coolers and supplies. But we were there for the relaxation and it was perfect for that too! I highly recommend this home and hope to stay again!

You will just love it here! The grounds are well-kept and attractive. The pool and beach were lovely. The only issue with pool area is as soon as it opens, individuals take ownership of the tables with umbrellas by placing personal items on them yet no one may be there for extended periods of time. Those tables are the only respite from the sun which makes it challenging. Additional umbrellas over the lounge chairs would help or, simply not allowing “reservations” for the day- even better. I would suggest BYO beach chairs- the ones there are not ideal although nice to have been offered. Although we always had our beach/pool badges in our beach bags, personnel were not strict whatsoever. The unit itself is neat, well-appointed, comfortable and well-kept. The sofa reclines with the push of a button but is not a sofa bed per se. There is a foldaway bed in the closet of the master bedroom but we did not use it because space was limited. So much is provided and available and the view is spectacular. It was great to use the washer/dryer for small bits of laundry. The porch outside had two anti-gravity chairs and a pretty rocking chair with small tables to enjoy. We closed the black-out drapes in the master bedroom and deck doors during the heat of the day so that it remained cooler. The rules are simple and the check-in & out are easy. Lasolas Market in Rt. 35 North in Normandy Beach was close by and a great little find - bought a beautiful sirloin at butcher shop there and used huge onsite grill behind pool area. We rented jet skis and did some crabbing at Dockside Outfitters in Seaside Heights - great place. The Rt. 35 North offered many eateries, shops and ice cream shops- The Music Man for ice cream was cute. Point Pleasant and Seaside Heights boardwalks are short rides. Glenn was easily reached via airbnb and answered our few correspondences promptly. We appreciated our experience and Glenn’s hospitality. Thank you!

The condo is spectacular and the host was very gracious and helpful! Note: there are alot of stairs to climb. We were unaware of this prior to checking in and my mother was unable to make it up the stairs due to her recent hip surgery. So please note there are stairs and it's not handicapped accessible. Otherwise great stay! Thanks!

We were very pleased with the accommodations and the location. Elizabeth made the whole experience seamless and easy. She went above and beyond. I would put this place on the top of my list for future trips to Asbury Park. We would give it a solid 10 out of 10.

We loved this place. Location definitely walkable to the boardwalk and beach. Also walkable to nice restaurants in Asbury Park and the Stone Pony if you are OK with walking up to a mile each way. The tennis court next door is part of a private club (off limits), but we found a public tennis/pickle ball court just 1.5 miles away on Main street. The bathroom has been updated very nicely. Another great amenity was the fully stocked Keurig coffee system. Thank you!

Review Just came back from our trip enjoying Rebecca’s place in Point Pleasant. The place was clean and beautiful and in a fantastic location, minutes from everything! Rebecca was very organized and her attention to detail was great! She was also very accommodating and answered any and all questions. We really enjoyed our stay and loved being able to bring our dog! The downstairs area was a great bonus space for our dog and relaxing at night. Place was a joy and she was a fantastic host. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time at the house! Everything was as listed. AJ was responsive and reached out with clear instructions on check in and house tips. The location was amazing, so close to the beach, and the neighbors in the rest of the house were very friendly. We loved chilling on the porch, and the quietness of Ocean Grove with the proximity of the more busy town of Asbury only about 3/4 of a mile away is perfect! Thanks again and we wil surely be looking to book again in the future!
