Monthly Rentals in Highland Grove

We stayed at Cherry’s for two nights with a group of 8 adults and 2 small dogs, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The home was beautifully decorated, clean, and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Cherry was a fantastic host—friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. There was plenty of space for all of us to hang out comfortably, whether we were relaxing on the porch, enjoying the BBQ area, gathering in the dining space, or unwinding in the cozy family room. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking and group meals super easy. We also loved the private dock and the scenic trail leading to it—though it was too chilly to swim, it’s definitely a highlight for warmer months. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend Cherry’s place to others looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

We were looking for a nice place to stay for a family getaway, and we sure found it! This cottage is exactly what we needed, plenty of space for everyone to sleep and a big open area to hangout. The deck is huge and it’s so beautiful being on the water. My toddler had tons of fun on the trampoline. I’m sure the swimming would be awesome but we were there when it was still too chilly. Sitting on the deck to enjoy the sunshine and the view was very peaceful and relaxing. We will likely book again in the future as it was the perfect meeting spot and perfect for our needs. Sean was very responsive the few times we had questions over the weekend. Highly recommend!

This is our second Thanksgiving Long Weekend spent at Dave's cottage. Everything was as perfect as last year. This year the First Aid Kit came really handy as one of us poked himself doing the dishes. He was able to patch himself up really quickly since the kit was right under the kitchen sink. There aren't many cottages around that are as considerate as this one that supplies First Aid Kits on BOTH floors. I can't say enough compliments for the hosts.

Highly recommend. The dock and the area by the lake are beautiful. And you get the entire view from the unit as well.
