Had a delightful week at Tigh Bhaan, the house was lovely as was the surrounding countryside. Being able to watch wildlife (otter, red deer, badgers, owl, pine martens) all from the comfort of your front room was great, the TV wasn’t turned on the whole week!

This cottage was a wonderful home base for exploring the island. Close enough to walk to Portree for meals, but far enough to be out of the hustle & bustle. Easy access to the roads to other parts of the island. The host was very communicative and had useful instructions throughout the house. The ensuite bathrooms with each bedroom made this an especially convenient place for a longer stay. Would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

As we entered Bruce's house, we felt very welcome, with a large bouquet of flowers in the kitchen and a second one in the living room in front of the panoramic window. We found all we needed and enjoyed our stay and especially the view over the water to the Isle of Skye with changing sunsets from cloudy to sunny. The house was easy to access, even though we arrived really late.

A really lovely place. Quiet, comfortable, great shower and exactly the right place to chill out. Hayley went above and beyond to help me get into Fortrose. A kind and first class host. Would recommend this place.

Helen's house was a great place for our family of five! It was one of the best AirBnB experiences that we've ever had. The house was spotless. Helen left clear instructions around the house...it's like she has thought of every question that any guest might have. She was also very responsive. It's in a very quiet neighborhood with quick access to downtown Inverness. We highly recommend this place for a visit to Inverness!!

To say we enjoyed this home is an understatement. We didn't want to leave! You can tell that this home is loved and it's easy to understand why! The views from the home, whether of the mountains or the beautiful yard, are so very calming and relaxing. The back garden has hidden paths to discover that can lead you to even better views. The beds were comfortable and all linens and towels well-appointed. We certainly enjoyed having the convenience of a separate washer and dryer. Walking distance to village with local shops and lovely restaurants. In response to the occasional floor creak, there are hardwood oak floors through most of the house and most hardware is solid brass. I would imagine this home was built in the 30s and, for us, was part of the charm. If you are looking for an escape to the country, you've found it! Thank you to Susie for being such a wonderful host and welcoming us into your home! Highly recommend!

Liz was one of the most helpful hosts I've ever had. She helped us with recommendations on where to visit nearby and was very accommodating. She also provides an unbelievable welcome package that includes home made bread, eggs from her chickens and honey from her bees!

Absolutely gorgeous, from the cottage to the local river walks and beach. The cottage itself was just perfect and beautifully presented. There was also a fabulous local wine bar/shop and restaurant which is definitely worth visiting. The restaurant is a couple of doors down from the wine shop but part of the same family. The food was amazing, small sharing plates, all delicious. We would love to come back and spend longer next time as there was so much to see and do. The cottage itself made our holiday. We loved every second of our stay. x

Archie's place was a fabulous home for us. It was super clean and exactly how described. Archie is an incredibly wonderful host who obviously cared a lot about our wellbeing. He is very proactive, he even supplied us with super fresh vegetables from his garden and offered help wherever he could. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the beautiful accommodation. We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It is lovely and cosy and super well appointed, we had everything we needed for our holiday. The location is fantastic and we had lovely sea view to enjoy!

Amanda and Stewart were very accommodating, especially as we were a long-term stay (six weeks). The place felt like home, the hosts were incredibly helpful (also with non-tourist advice). The garden is secure for our two big dogs, and the place itself spotless, clean and really enjoyable. And the neighbours are very nice, too :)
