Great little spot, with all the amenities necessary to rest and recover from all there is to do in the great Ben Nevis outdoors!

Karen's apartment was amazing. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, super clean, in an amazing location close to everything, and had an incredible view. Karen was beyond helpful. She was very proactive in communicating with us. Karen gave us a lot of recommendations for restaurants and things to do on the Isle of Skye. Karen was a beyond gracious host and even gave us a fresh loaf of baked bread with jam. Karen's hospitality was wonderful. We would love to stay at Karen's place on our next visit to Skye and would recommend this home to everyone.

Great location. Easy walk to restaurants and shops but nice and quiet at night. Karen v helpful and lives in another apartment on site.

Karen is an excellent communicator and resource, both before arrival and during our stay. The location is a close enough walk to the centre of town but far enough away to escape the busyness of Portree. The unit on the main floor is easily accessible and near to the adjacent parking stalls. The unit is modern and well equipped and the bed very comfortable. It served us well for our 2 day stay.

The croft is exactly as described by Gareth. Excellent in all ways. Lauren, his housekeeper, really takes pride in everything she does. Dornoch is a great base, interesting historic town, lovely beach and dont miss the harbour seals sunbathing on the sand banks!, and what a convienient but quiet location the croft is in. Only drawback...... the front door height was not made for 6 foot plus people.... remember to duck and not stand up too quick as the walls are thicker than you think!! We will return. Thankyou you Gareth and Lauren for going the extra mile.

Accommodation was clean and tidy and kitchen had various basic condiments and cleaning products which was handy. It is in a very quiet cul de sac and we always managed to park. Very convenient for grocery shopping and station and getting to Ben Nevis visitor centre. Also well placed for trip to Malliag etc. David was very quick at dealing with a furniture malfunction and always answered any messages sent and gave advise when needed promptly. The 2nd bedroom is fairly small with a double bed but comfortable.

This place is fantastic. House was faultless, hot tub is brilliant, and you can’t beat the location. It's only a few minutes walk into the centre of town yet we heard no noise coming from the main street. Jack is an amazing and thoughtful host. Knowing that the trip was for my wife's birthday, he'd left a gift for her and also a present for our dog. Both were delighted. Jack definitely cemented his superhost rating! We thoroughly recommend staying here and are likely to do so again ourselves.

Just arrived back from a long weekend at The Old Stables, the house was perfect for us, clean and tidy and looked exactly like the photos. Hot tub and sauna room was brilliant for relaxing in after our activities too. Hazel and Lloyd were both very good at communicating with us and we will definitely book up again. Thank you

The place is really nice, it is centrally located on the island, so it is easy to see all the places you need to visit on the isle of skye. It has an amazing view from the large window. Would recommend to everyone.
