The Annex is ideal for a break if you’re after easy access to London on the tube, plus it offers peace and quiet in the leafy surroundings of Barnet. It is comfortable, very clean, well maintained and well equipped with everything you need. Kenny is a friendly host.

My partner and I loved this place, it was comfy, peaceful and beautiful. The stables were very modern and bright with nice skylight windows and had lots of extra touches like an Alexa, board games, blender, coffee machine, air fryer and chargers. I found it hard to find a place where the hot tub was private and not in a shared garden so this was perfect - their house was next door if we needed anything but it was still lovely and private. Had a couple of queries while we were there and both hosts answered very quickly between them. The only downside was that we had to clean some greasy pans, bowls, and the fridge before we could use them — likely left that way by previous guests — and the cooking oil provided was past its best before date (12/2024). Overall, though, it was a lovely stay and we’d definitely return!

Stayed around a month in Sam’s place. Good location: opposite tescos, about 10mins walk to train station and town. Apartment: a small room with single bed, bathroom and kitchen area. It’s small, neat and tidy, and kept quite cool despite the mid 20s temperature outside. Overall this was an easy to use and convenient place for me to stay while i worked in London.
