Monthly Rentals in Hernhill

We really enjoyed our return trip to The Cart Stable. It is a lovely, cosy, peaceful cottage in a little village, with beautiful countryside around. Anita and Paul are very helpful hosts and it was really nice to have a few provisions left for us when we arrived. We would recommend it as a great place to stay.

What a fabulous find! We spent the long May Day holiday weekend celebrating a big birthday for my mother in law at Theresa’s place and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place. It was tranquil, immaculate, well equipped, comfortable, cosy and a wonderful place to base ourselves while exploring Kent. What more could you want?!? The rear garden is gorgeous in the afternoon and our little boy (3) had a tonne of fun running safely around. He also loved the fish in the front garden and seeing the farmers go past in their tractors. Theresa was an incredible host - providing clear and helpful instructions before our arrival and providing a basket and fridge of delicious local goodies for us to enjoy through our stay. Myself and my brother visited Boughton under blean for the May bank holiday to see our Father who lives in the village. Saskia was more than communicative, responsive and helpful with checking in and out. There was bread, butter and plenty of other amenities on arrival. The barn is a lovely home away from home, with a beautiful garden. Saskia’s husband even came and cut the grass for our stay (which he didn’t have to do) I will be back, as I visit Kent a lot, with it being my childhood home at heart. I recommend anyone looking at staying here, to not even second guess it! Boughton is the perfect quiet getaway but also very close to Faversham and Canterbury and the coast. All in all, a wonderful host and I will be back!
