Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Herefordshire

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew’s place, very well appointed, with all that we needed, and tastefully decorated. The location is wonderful, very peaceful, but close enough to a decent couple of pubs/restaurants to walk. Lots of nice walks around and good links to many of the attractions in the area. Shout out in particular to the comfortable beds, really good! Can definitely recommend a stay here.

Leeann was super communicative which made the trip, arrival and check in seamless. The home was perfect t for our lot and the kids loved their shared room which had a nook that became the centre of their hide and seek game. There was plenty of space in the house and a few touches like tea and coffee made it instantly feel like home. Our takeaway from this trip was the beauty of family which was mirrored with the ample space in the property which also somehow felt cosy. Do not hesitate to book this one, you will definitely not be disappointed.

A really comfortable place to stay, with easy access to places to walk our dog, to parks, amenities and the city. Perfect.

This property is just fantastic. I can honestly say the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Location was tranquil and peaceful. House is spotless, every room was extremely clean. Great powerful shower. The property is a good size. We were only 3 people and was very spacious for us. Has its own private parking. Kitchen was lovely, and a great little garden, with beautiful views. We felt relaxed and chilled here. There is not a lot in the little village, there is a pub, but we knew that when booking and that's what sold it for us. We don't like busy towns, we wanted quiet. It is a great base to get about though. Not far from Hereford, and right on the Welsh border. Just down the road is Arthur's Stone which was really interesting to visit. We drove into Hay-on-Wye one evening, its about 15 mins down the road, lots of restaurants and fish shop. The Brecon Beacons were only an hour away. We also visited Puzzlewood, which is in the Forest of Dean, about an hour in the other direction.

A beautiful little haven - we had a lovely stay at Alison’s place. Felt at home from the moment we arrived. So quiet and peaceful yet just a short walk to some of Hays best pubs and restaurants - just perfect. Loved watching and listening to the birds in the garden too. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Luxury Tree House. The property is even more beautiful than the pictures — spacious, cozy, and immaculately clean. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a definite highlight, especially in the evenings. Pam was a fantastic host — very responsive, helpful, and accommodating. Check-in was seamless, and everything we needed was provided. We would highly recommend this unique property and hope to return again!

Only a one night stay but was a very peaceful and cosy night. Everything was immaculate when we arrived. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The grounds on which we stayed were gorgeous and very nice to walk around. Would definitely stay again.

Thank you to Suzanne for an amazing stay. It was very relaxing, not just because of the location and surroundings, but also because Suzanne provided everything we needed to settle after a long journey. Although we didn’t formally speak, we felt you were there if we needed anything and always responded almost immediately. You provided a lot of useful information including maps for local walks, shops etc. We liked that fact that we could walk out of the lodge and immediately find walking routes in any direction. We also liked that the garden was secure, one of our dogs is a little excitable and it was reassuring to know that she could venture in to the garden without worrying about what she was up to! All amenities were perfectly functional and of good quality. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with good shower too. Thank you for a lovely stay. I would recommend Suzanne’s place to anyone who likes long scenic walks, relaxing, and escaping their busy lives in a beautiful location.

The perfect spot for getting cosy and exploring pretty walks locally. Special shout out to Mark for being so kind, flexible and friendly! We were extra impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was for an airbnb which made cooking-in even lovelier. Such a charming space to find, we'll be back!

Both myself and my partner had a lovely stay we couldn't of picked a better place to stay, the accommodation was spotless, the hot tub was lovely and the overall stay was perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone that wishes for a nice relaxing time away, we will definetly be stopping again in the very near future. Thanks Nigel & Debs for such a welcoming stay.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely flat which is just outside Hay. The bedroom is very spacious and the living room looks out onto a balcony and over fields - a beautiful view. It was hot when we were there but the flat stayed quite cool. Jan was a lovely host - friendly but left us to our own space as well. The balcony is really nice and a great place to sit out - really adds to the quality of the place.

A rejuvenating place that felt like staying in someone's warm (not just in temperature) and characterful home. We enjoyed feeling relaxed here from the moment we arrived. The surrounding fields and orchard with a river running through it was idyllic day and night. I was rewarded for being awake by the sounds of tawny owls calling back and forth. We had a brilliant stay and we were very pleased with the accommodation which was well equipped and the rural outlook and views from the flat exceeded our expectations. It was great that there were pretty local walks from the flat which meant we didn’t need to drive. Simon was a great host and we hope to return to the flat at a later date.

We loved the rural setting of Lizzy’s place right in the heart of the hills we were hoping to explore. Lizzy was on hand if we needed to ask anything but the apartment and the information we had already received was more than adequate - a cosy spot to return to after a long walk. And a good shower too.

The apartment was clean, warm and comfy with all you need for a relaxing break. We felt at home straight away and the peaceful location and comfy bed meant that we had a great nights sleep. The view from the terrace was amazing with lovely evening sun and beautiful sunsets. Justine contacted us before arriving and during our stay, was really friendly and very understanding of our barking dog! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and we hope to return in the future. Thank you Justine and hubby.

Another very happy stay here. As it was a warmer time of year this stay,it was wonderful to be able to sit out on the covered decking and on the grass beside the property watching the sheep and a moorhen with her chicks by the large pond. Very peaceful property and flexible bedrooms,sociable living/kitchen area,parking outside on the property. We were visiting for a family wedding nearby at Verzon House but did manage to visit The Nest Cafe for delicious lunch and Wellington Garden Centre a bit further afield but well worth the journey. We shall return!

Debbie's annexe is a delightful space in a beautiful setting. As the weather was so hot, we were able to leave food in the fridge before check-in time which was great. She made the annexe special with extra touches; milk, cereal and fruit, as well as tea and coffee. After a day walking we enjoyed a relaxing evening admiring the view and listening to the birdsong and hope to visit again. Thank you Debbie!

Sarah was helpful when we lost our way and her daughter met us then we followed her so that we could check-in. 100% Wheelchair Accessible, all as described when we booked the short stay so that we could visit family in Worcester for a Birthday Meal.

We really enjoyed our stay with Sydney who was a very friendly and responsive host. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped and very clean and in a great location for walking into Ross or visiting the surrounding area. Syd gave us lots of local recommendations and made sure we had a fantastic stay.
