Middle Hivron

TraceyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely time at Rachel's home in Bleddfa. The house is surrounded by beautiful countryside and had everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms have lovely views and a delight to wake up to. From the dining table you can watch the visiting birds on the bird feeder we even had a wood pecker visit. Fabulous to use the hot tub in the evening which was lovely and warm. Great to watch the sheep and we made a friend of Taff the very tame sheep who enjoyed a biscuit or 2. We visited the Elan Valley area, devils bridge and the kite feeding at Gigrin Farm. Lovely long weekend really enjoyed the home and will definitely visit again.

Willow, Luxury Log Cabin Retreat

GrantRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Took my partner for her birthday as a surprise, we absolutely loved the cabin. We couldn’t recommend it enough, the views were beautiful and it was very peaceful. The cabin itself is homely with high quality furnishings and appliances. We would definitely love to return, thank you to Susanah for organising decorations and a bottle of Prosecco. My partner had the best birthday and that’s all I could of wished for.

Beautiful 3 bed cabin with hot tub on Welsh Border

AbiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just back from a lovely, peaceful few days at Harp Meadow! The accommodation was beautiful, clean and quiet! The beds were super comfortable and the property was equipped with everything we could have needed during our stay. The welcome hamper was a great addition as well! The location was wonderful, lovely and peaceful to enjoy evenings on the patio and in the relaxing hot tub. We have no complaints and would definitely stay here again!

Bramley

MartinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The inside was lovely with everything you needed but it was the views that made it. Sitting out on the patio watching the landscape change as the sun set and the mist rolled into the valley, whilst listening to the birds chatter in the trees below was wonderful.

Romantic Log Cabin With Hot Tub

HannahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Perfect from start to finish! Easy check in, completely as show in photos. The lodge is tranquil, beautifully finished and we just totally relaxed during our stay. We had the most delicious meal at the Riverside, a short walk away then sat stargazing in the hottub. This morning, we had breakfast on the decking then sat in the hottub watching rabbits, birds and squirrels. This place is gorgeous and we will definitely stay again! Thank you!

Stoney brook lodge Secluded with stunning views

ConnorRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a lovely week at the lodge with our two dogs. Marie was a fantastic host, she left us some very thoughtful welcome presents and popped round to check we had settled in okay, which was much appreciated. The lodge itself was perfect. It was very clean and a lovely, cosy space with a log burner and plenty of wood provided. The stand-out was the outdoor cooking and seating area with the hot tub, the views of the hills were incredible. The garden was fully fenced and secure for the dogs, and with hours of hill walking on Clee Hill 100 metres from the gate it was perfect for long walks without needing to get in the car. Thank you Marie for a lovely week. We look forward to coming back again soon.

The Paddocks-Private site 4 Lodges, Garden & Woods

AndreaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Aged from 4 to 77 we were a mixed group and took over the whole of the site. It was perfect for us. The children had free range over the private and well maintained site. We oldies slept in the small cabins which wasn't a problem as we cooked and ate in the big cabins with the family. The bigger cabins were really comfortable and roomy. We were lucky to have good weather and ate outside and then moved over to sit around the covered firepit as it got colder. The kids loved the firepit and we toasted marshmallows on sticks. They also loved Newbridge farm just minutes down the road down the road, with special mention for a very exciting tractor ride. We took some balls with us but wished we' taken a bit more outdoor equipment with us, though there may well have been some there that we didn't find. We had a lovely weekend.

The cabin

KatieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
So much thought and effort has gone into making this place very special. It is set in an old orchard so you are surrounded by wildlife with incredible birdsong at dusk and in the early morning. It is near the Worcestershire Way so we had some lovely walks from the door. Very well set up camp fire with all the kit for cooking in the evenings, and the baths over the stream were fun! Would love to return.

Larches Waterside Lodge

ZsofiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place is nothing short of amazing. We were in search for a private, secluded getaway, and Luke’s cabin exceeded our expectations. There are three cabins along the lake, in a completely private area and a short drive away from pubs, amenities and things to do. The cabin itself was spotless, bright and thoughtfully designed. Would definitely return.

Hop Pickers Cabin, dog friendly, jacuzzi hot tub

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Stayed here as a group of 4 friends to celebrate special birthdays. The cabin was spotless and has everything you need. We forgot to take sugar and Louise brought some right round when we asked if she had any. The shared games room, pool (each property has their own time slots) and tennis courts were fun to have and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Private hot tub to top it off. We love playing games. We brought our own but the cabin had a really good selection. Sequence was our favourite!! Checkout wasn’t as clear as check in and we weren’t sure what to do with the key but overall we had a 10/10 time and would definitely recommend. Thank you for having us. 🙂

Serene cabin retreat next to award-winning pub

NicolaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
What a little gem. We were greeted by Sue, who said to get in touch if we needed anything, and she was a great host. The village had a power cut and Sue came round with battery candles and lights for us. She was very apologetic, even though a power cut is out of anyone's control. We just snuggled down for the evening and listened to some music. The cabin is perfect. We had a welcome basket with essentials for breakfast, the views were stunning and we had a very friendly welcome from all the local people we met during our stay. The Harp pub next door is definitely worth visiting, but you must book, as they get busy. The pub is full of character and the food is very good. Sue sent us a few places we could visit, which was helpful. There aren't any information leaflets in the cabin, but I am sure Sue or Ben will help you there if you need any local information. All in all a lovely stay in a beautiful part of the country. Thank you both.

The Nut House - Squirrel Lane Lodges

TimRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a lovely 5 days in The Nut House. The cabin is warm, comfortable, stylish and well equipped. Wifi is good. The patio doors overlook a lawn and bird feeder. We watched baby rabbits hop around the lawn and wood peckers on the bird feeder :-) Parking is right next to the cabin, and it's well situated for Ludlow. If you want to be left alone then you can do the whole trip without needing the host. As it happened we reached out to her and she was lovely, and went above and beyond to accommodate our request. Would happily stay here again.

Hobbit Pod

BrianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wanted a cheap and cheerful place to stay on a weekend bike tour and it totally met our demands in that respect. Injury stopped it being a bike tour, but still a lovely no-fuss accommoadtion option within 20 minute walk of Hay on Wye. Real quirky little pod, and the smiley face on the back a nice touch! No bathroom facilities, but a well maintained shower and toilet block less than 50m away. Really pleased with the stay overall.

En-suite studio in lovely garden Ross on Wye

ToddRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
The inviting beauty of this little garden cottage was such a welcome relief after a long week of work and travel. The hosts, David and Janet, we’re very gracious and helpful, including giving some great restaurant advice. I slept very well as evidenced by my Oura ring that said I went from limited to adequate to solid resilience! Next time I am in Ross, I will definitely check to see if I can return to this little oasis.

The Cabin by the Pool

EmmaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I cannot recommend this stay enough, our first pool house and it has made me want more! Hosts were fantastic, on hand if needed but also left us to it. Pool was heated to perfection and nice and deep enough for learning to dive! Fun, peaceful and picturesque. The photos really do not do this accommodation justice. 5star for sure! Thank you Mike & Christine for making our 10yr anniversary so peaceful and one we will never forget!

Bridget and Will's cabin in the Malvern Hills is a wonderful retreat—spacious, well-equipped with plenty of utensils, and even includes a washing machine. The private patio was a great spot to relax, especially with the beautiful weather. Nearby, there's a natural spring water source, perfect for drinking and refilling bottles. A truly enjoyable stay!

Romantic Hideaway at Symonds Yat with Hot Tub!

CarlyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Chapel Cottage is a delightful countryside retreat that offers everything you could hope for in a peaceful escape. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the stunning views across rolling green hills and the tranquil atmosphere. The cottage itself is charming and immaculately clean, with modern amenities that ensure a comfortable stay. We especially loved the private hot tub – a perfect way to unwind while gazing at the beautiful landscape. The garden and outdoor space are equally wonderful, with vibrant flowers and plenty of room for children to play. The local area is full of scenic walks and charming villages, making it a great base for exploring the region. Couples Cabin with hot tub, Forest of Dean

NatalieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely overall stay at David’s Robin Lodge, big thanks to the gent who checked us in, for lots of recommendations of local pubs with food and walks, highly recommend The Crown Inn, YAT rock walk & ye old ferrie inn pub, forest of dean sculpture walk, However I did book this as it was dog friendly, I had turned down nicer properties as they said dog friendly but not on furniture, this however didn’t not say that unit David message directly making that request which was annoying. I was also not made aware this was a camping site (caravans and tents in front of the cabin), until the address was given, lots of kids running around next to the cabin, yappy dogs loose. (We kept ours on leads) We had to request the bbq to use, and then we had to go out buy coal and kindling, which we got from Lea Stores down the road! Cafe onsite fry up was big portions and delicious, highly recommend their lemon meringue pie too! Overall a lovely stay and thank you for having us.
