Great place has everything you need and was great for families with nice big garden and swings for children to run around in. Jan was a great host and so lovely and warm! Lots of lovely things to do around the area too!

Dave gave us a very friendly welcome on arrival and showed us around the property. Tracey had prepared a homemade cake for our stay along with a small basket of provisions to get us started. The cottage has a private, fenced garden (very useful to keep dogs safe) and is surrounded by extensive gardens that you can wander around too. The kitchen was supplied with everything needed and with both bedrooms being en-suite, neither couple felt they had an inferior room and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. A real home-from-home experience. The option to have use of the hot tub for an additional fee was the icing on the cake. Being on the edge of the Forest of Dean and close to Gloucester and Ross on Wye, there were plenty of options for excursions. We loved our weekend and would definitely cover again.

Really beautiful accommodation- very thoughtfully designed to make for a really enjoyable holiday! We had a large family gathering including 6 children aged 4 and under. Very accommodating and helpful staff. We all had a wonderful time (kept on the run by the little ones) They had the time of their lives- loved it. Thank you so much. Really excellent accommodation- we all had our private quiet spaces within the huge barn… with good sound proofing too. Games room (equipment provided) and cinema room- exceptional. Highly recommended

A lovely and authentic stone cottage within a few minutes walk from town. Has all you need for a visit to Kington and Offa’s Dyke. Great communication from Judith. Would recommend

What a beautiful home and location! Perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. Host and owners on site was excellent, giving local recommendations and freedom to explore the amazing surroundings. House was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed.

We had a lovely stay. The perfect place for a catch up with friends. Extremely peaceful apart from the sound of sheep and baby lambs which was lovely to hear as living in a town we don't get. The pure countryside. The house was nice and clean and as explained. All communication as brilliant. The little touch of coffee and milk on arrival was greatly received. We loved the little secret garden it was a great suntrap.. would definitely stay again and recommend.

Loved our stay at this Airbnb! Super clean, modern, and really nicely decorated. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog — peaceful spot overlooking a vineyard, and we even saw a few rabbits hopping around! Would definitely recommend to anyone. Already missing the garden! Great dog walks nearby: • Millennium Arboretum – ideal for a quick evening stroll. • Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail – fun walk with cool art along the way. • Symonds Yat – stunning views and plenty of space to explore.

A beautiful, immaculate home that was perfect for our two-night girls’ getaway. Josh and Hannah were responsive, offered great local tips, and even brought over new fans given the summer heat. We loved relaxing in the hot tub in the warm evenings. Highly recommend this Airbnb for a peaceful countryside escape!

The setting of the property is what dreams are made of if you're after complete peace and quiet with beautiful surroundings. I booked the property to stay with a small group of girl friends to celebrate my 40th birthday. I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. The property is lovely and spacious and well equipped with all you could need to be self sufficient for a few days. It was a welcome surprise to find milk in the fridge and ample tea, coffee and sugar. The views from the property are stunning and the peace and quiet - apart from a few neighbourly sheep - means you have complete privacy. There are footpaths right through the property gate, leading down past a lake or upward towards Arthur's Stone. The instructions that Sue had sent to us prior to arrival really helped us to locate the house in such a rural location. Hay-on-Wye was a short drive away where we were able to pick up a takeaway one evening as well as potter around during the day. I'd highly recommend!

Janet and Rupert made us feel so welcome and we found opportunities to chat with them which really made us feel at home. The accommodation is beautiful, exactly as shown in photos, and we made use of the private garden. They provided bread, eggs, milk and juice and many other basics. Of course we brought everything we needed with us, not having experienced this kind of provision elsewhere, but this felt like a warm hug of welcome. There are plenty of books of all genres, games, dvd's, so plenty to occupy time in case of inclement weather and long evenings. Information on local walks and places of interest were useful and we explored the community café and park. We loved it so much here, we will definitely return. We can't recommend it highly enough and Janet and Rupert are genuinely lovely hosts. P.S. We adored all the animals!

We stayed here for one night for a friends 30th birthday. The photos do not do this place justice as it is so much more beautiful of a cottage in real life. It felt so peaceful, welcoming and super cosy for us to enjoy our evening. Laura was incredible at responding to any messages and made me feel like I could ask her anything. Instructions for check in and check out were easy to follow and made getting into the properly super simple. Property itself was perfectly clean, well kept, decorated beautifully and just all round lovely. Will most definitely return! Thank you so much for having us! xxxx

The Stables. Where can I start? Usually with a new rental I ask myself “What would a foreign visitor think of this place?” Well at The Stables it would be England is a great place and this is the best. 5star and I list. Mirror with night time light so no walking everyone with the fan. Wi-fi over 50Mbps in the countryside! Location to nearby Ledbury, Ross on Wye and even Gloucester and Cheltenham. Best shower ever in a decade using AirBnB. Easy dedicated and secure parking.Quality smart TV in all rooms. Last but definitely not least owners Sally and Sheila so so helpful as well as the most comprehensive folders on using dishwasher, etc. Best ever thank you so much for our visit.

Beautiful cottage. Amazing stay, beautiful and peaceful get away We stayed here for a wedding so didn’t spend too much time at the cottage however, is was clean, and very homely. Paul and Angela are so responsive and went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Very mindful with all the eco touches and the EV charger is easy to use AND WELL PRICED ( which is super rare in the EV world) Finally price we paid for 5 adults was amazing Thank you

Stunning surroundings, the bedroom carved from rock was something else. Very peaceful, vey beautiful, thank you Cheryl and Alan for making us so welcome, what you have done to the Cider Press is amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hen House. it was beautifully decorated and every little detail had been thought of. The bed was extremely comfy and we loved the enclosed garden which looked magical in the evenings with fairy lights. Our Dog Dee Dee also loved the meadows and woodland surrounding the cottage which which we enjoyed every day for our walk. We also loved visiting the surrounding area including Ludlow, Tenbury Wells and Berrington Hall.

We came and stayed for one night for a friends 30th , the house was perfect for our stay , we relaxed in the covered hot tub while it rained , had a good go on the karaoke provided and enjoyed the amazing surroundings. It was great i only wish we stayed for more than one night!

We had a fabulous relaxing long weekend at Old Barn House, a simply beautiful house in a beautiful peaceful setting with a wonderful countryside view from every window! The information provided by Sarah prior to our visit was excellent & so comprehensive with a lovely meet & greet on our arrival & a wonderful welcome basket containing lots of goodies. The house is very spacious, beautifully furnished & equipped, with plenty of parking, spotlessly clean with absolutely everything thought of including hot tub towels & blankets for those chilly evenings sitting outside in the stunning garden. The beds were so comfortable & the luxury bedding the best any of us had previously experienced in a holiday rental. The hot tub with a view & garden hammock were also big hits & used daily.....and although we didn't get time to try them out, there is also a great selection of indoor & outdoor games. Thank you so much, we would highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay! Didn’t want to leave, felt right at home and loved waiting up to the beautiful views snd birds tweeting. Exceeded my expectations! Would stay here again! Both wonderful host, So friendly and well worth a visit. Hidden gem!
