This property is such a gem, it’s a bit like stepping back in time to a proper family bach, but one that has been cared for really well. The position is absolutely stunning; the most amazing view - sitting with the door open listening to the birds and the sea was glorious. And a big walk along the beach below was a great start to the day I cannot wait to come back here, I felt so relaxed after a couple of nights here, I only wish it had been longer. Super easy to drive back to Oamaru, 15 mins tops.

We had a fantastic time here. The cube is beautifully appointed, spacious and cozy all wrapped into one. The views are spectacular, it has everything you need. The beds are so unbelievably comfortable, to the point I'm trying to recreate the set up at home. The beaches and surrounds are amazing in whatever weather. We just didn't book for long enough. very warm house. clean and comfy stay. did some cooking in the room and wash our dishes outside. big nice TV which we can watch some movie during night. surround animals was lovely.

This place is beautiful. I am a returning guest and each time I arrive and see the glorious stone manse and beautiful settlers cottage I feel I’m arriving in heaven. It is immediately relaxing and such a beautiful character filled place to be. There are plenty of heaters to keep the cottage cozy even on the coldest mornings. The bath is an absolute treat. It is a lovely rural place to relax, but also has great internet and phone signal if you are there for work. It is close to Oamaru and many surrounding activities and tourist hilights. Susie leaves interesting locally made treats to try which adds to making the whole experience so special and memorable. I will be back on every opportunity.
