We all felt relaxed here and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The host was helpful and considerate and everything was as they said it would be. Excellent bedding and towels! I really appreciate these details- good linen and bedding is very important to me.

This studio apartment is just as charming in person as it is in the pictures. Polly the owner is super responsive and supporting and everything is spotlessly clean and in good condition. Located right in the heart of Ashburton and walkable to antique shops, a local arts center with a good performance calendar, wonderful gourmet shops and restaurants with local foods, and only about an hour’s walk to hiking on the Dartmoor. I’d absolutely stay there again!!

What a magical place. The pictures don’t do it justice - everything from the homely space itself to the beautiful setting in the woods. The moors are so close, it was breathtaking. Even the local pub was a delight! Sarah’s place was super accommodating for our slightly neurotic terrier as feels private and the ease of being able to let yourself in meant no unnecessary barking! They even supplied a dog bed, bowl, towel and treats which was very sweet and meant we could travel light. I’d 100% come again and have already recommended to friends. Thanks so much!

What a beautiful little place and a fabulous location to stopover for a couple of nights. We absolutely loved Josie’s style at The Apiary and it was perfectly clean and comfortable for us and our little dog. Wandering through the grounds of Southcombe House and its pretty wildflower meadows was just delightful. An idyllic spot in wonderful location.
