Monthly Rentals in Hawstead

Stayed here to attend a wedding at local venue. Lovely cottage lots of amenities in a praceful location. It had all we needed for our stay. Host was friendly and responded to any questions.

The Little Owl is our favourite Air B&B find so far. The property was absolutely beautiful and unique. The garden area was stunning, not to mention the incredible views! Hayley was a lovely host, thank you for having us!

‘The Red Shed’ has to be the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in! It’s truly special in everywhere, from how beautiful it is, to the stunning setting, yet with such close proximity to the wonderful town of Bury St Edmunds. Our stay was a surprise for my husband’s 60th birthday, I could not have booked anywhere better! There is everything you need and more provided by Rebecca, her attention to detail and thought from thinking about what ‘home from home’ should be is just wonderful! We then got to meet this absolutely lovely lady when she took the time to come and meet us to see how our stay had been. It was great to be able to tell her in person how fantastic her place is! We rebooked while we were still staying there! To go back again for our first wedding anniversary in a couple of months time and cant wait! We didn’t want to leave and would live there! :)

What can I say, this lodge was amazing and definitely the best accommodation I have stayed in and been using holiday cottages for over 30 years. Spotlessly clean, lovely decoration, loads of thoughtful touches (including whisky, home made marmalade, bread, milk and cereals). My wife enjoyed the coffees. Amazing hosts 10/10. Loved sitting out on patio and everywhere was just so peaceful and silent. The king size bed is so comfy and importantly to me, extremely clean and what you would expect in an expensive hotel. Why is not all holiday accommodation like this? Lodge is walkable distance to town and local pubs. Stayed 2 nights, but wish it could have been more. We have only been back a day and recommended to four people already. On a separate note, Bury St Edmunds is lovely and must also include Lavenham village. Thanks for everything. 10/10
