Excellent place to stay, especially due to its amenities and proximity to the University of Hartford. Antonio was super friendly and responsive - will look to stay here again in the future!

We stayed in West Hartford for a weekend getaway, having grown up in the area we couldn't wait to get back and reminisce. The area is just how I remembered it, right down to our fav pizza place being in walking distance. We enjoyed staying in the first night and sitting out on the porch. The 2nd night we ventured out to West Hartford Center and Hartford, both very close to the apartment. The surrounding area is very quiet, we felt safe and at home and would definitely stay here again when we return to visit. I would recommend staying here. The beds were very comfortable and the house very clean. We look forward to returning, thank you!

It's a quiet spot in the city, with great communication with the host. I'd just add a few basics to the kitchen to improve the experience.

I really enjoyed my stay at this house in Connecticut. It was super clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. I appreciated the little things—like having dishes, cups, and basic kitchen supplies already there. It made it feel more like home and less like just a rental. The location was easy to get to and felt safe and quiet. Overall, it was a really smooth and stress-free stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, well-kept place to stay!

Overall this home met our needs. The value felt very good compared to similarly sized options in the area. Can be a bit noisy between the traffic and the sound transfer through the house, but Heather does warn of this in the description so it didn't come as a surprise. The decor is also not the most young child friendly so we moved quite a few things behind a gate to keep them safe. Check in and check out process very easy, so we appreciated that.

I met Calvin personally during our stay and he was respectful and accommodating to all our request. The location is perfect. It was accessible to everything. There was a trail minutes away to walk, run, ride your bike. Peaceful area which appeals to me. The accessibility to various attractions, stores, and restaurants made this location perfect. There were more than enough amenities provided for a family of 4. I would definitely book again.

Overall it was great! At first I felt a little awkward knowing there were other renters in the front house but we all minded our own business and it was fine. The space was perfect for a place to live for 2 weeks while I relocated for a job. There’s an awesome walking trail right behind the house! Walking distance to coffee and just a 3min drive for other restaurants and a laundromat. The only thing I would suggest is a hook or bar for drying towels after a shower! Communicative host and pleasant overall stay!

Our weekend stay was great! The living space was bright and beautiful, as was the bedroom! There was the perfect amount of space for the two of us and our two children. Loved that we had our own private parking area. Doug and his wife were very kind, accommodating, and very fast at responding to any questions I had. We would stay again!

This is one of the best places I've stayed in a long time. Idyllic, pastoral... it was perfect. Just wish we could have spent longer there! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, and it's hard to argue with a host who keeps the second "B" in "BnB"! there were fresh eggs and milk and pancake mix provided. Our five year old liked watching the chickens and feeding them our food leftovers, and there's a great play area (unfortunately the weather didn't give us much of a chance to use it). We can't wait to find a time to come back! The only tricky bit is not getting confused by the driveway - the host's directions are PERFECT but it takes a sec to realize that you turn in and squiggle between other properties and only then you'll see things you recognize from the photos.

The place was beautifully decorated and everything from the plants to the antiques was wonderful to see. This is the perfect place for any stay and they only ask that you respect the possessions. John was very responsive in helping us for a late check in.

Viktoriya’s place was a perfect place for a quick stay! Lots of windows to open for a breeze to come in to cool down the place! Viktoriya was very responsive and flexible. My flight landed at 1 and she let me check in early, free of charge! I’ll be back in Hartford this time next year and I would come back here!

Heather as always is the perfect host. She replinished supplies and changed sheets . I was there longer than my other visits. The space is back from the road and attached to her home,so it was quiet most of the time. School buses going to a nearby school could be heard briefly in the morning..around 7. I loved the paint colors ..new this time.

We had to cut our stay short due to changes in travel plans, which was a pity because it was a really lovely and very comfortable place. I would strongly recommend it and hope to stay longer next time.

I had a wonderful three day stay at Courtney‘s historical Ensign- Bickford house apartment in the heart of downtown Simsbury. Walking distance to the flower Bridge, where I enjoyed coffee with the sunrise each morning of my stay! Apartment was lovely, clean, and Courtney was a very responsive host. Little details and amenities in the apartment, such as the delicious coffee, snacks, and seltzer water were a pleasant surprise! I am looking forward to staying again sometime soon in the future!

very clean and well organised apartment in a two floor house. separate entrance and private apartment with fully equipped kitchen and living room, 2 bedrooms. house is old but well maintained and upgraded with granite kitchen counter tops. Thank you for hosting us.

The Villa was exactly as described! Easy communication with owner. A perfect getaway weekend, every amenity we could want or need! Look forward to visiting again in the near future!

Great apartment! Furniture is comfy. Kitchen is fully stocked. Neighborhood is peaceful. During my stay the cutting boards were stored between the microwave and wall (took me a day to find them)
